i wonder how to really use the lower body right i always seem to get stuck when i am trying to lead with the lower body and i result in either a push slice or a pull hook?
@holyrocnroll hey try think about starting your downswing with the navel. i found that with this feeling i dont spin out my hips like i do if i just think about starting my lower body and this gets me out of sync. i got this information from sevam1 and if you dont know who that is just look it up here on youtube.
Actually, you're not far from right; this is not that good a swing. Hogan modified his swing mid career. He was a middling pro, just hanging around the tour for years, but he was one of the rare ones who made mid-career changes and became a true champion. I can only suspect this came from the early years, because that's not the Hogan swing I've seen on film from his glory years.

Yeah, that's why 95% of PGA pros have copied his swing. Hogan laid the blueprint for the modern golf swings. It's right in his books.
