Im looking for one but a 3/4th ton. My dad had one same color, best work/plow truck ever, Thing was built like a tank. He bought it new in 84, then in 2001 got rid of it for a new Dodge at the time, ive been looking all over for it but no luck
@carnypimp Why?, I like those trucks to me they are the most reliable truck because the engine is so simple, you know, if anything were to go wrong with it(which is unlikely unless it has been abused) it would take about 5 minutes to find out whats going on. Plus everything is accessable not concealed like with modern cars where you have to go to the "specially trained" dealer to get it fixed, the alternator, compressor, steering column, you name it is in plain sight.
@Macho123Kidd Im moving had to sell to get appilances. I can't buy much on unemployment. But im sure I will find me another good ol GMC or Chevy when things get better.
@Macho123Kidd I was a factory worker now im on unemployment. Trieng to find a factory job or constuction. I believe things will get better when Obama payes off Bush dept.
@carnypimp I'm going to buy a newer vehicle soon and im not going to sell my GMC, i'm going to store it in my garage and use my LMC Truck Magazine to restore it, it would be a good project. It just needs a paint job, new dash, carpet, etc, bodys in great condition.
@Macho123Kidd can you help me? i have the same sierra 2500, but with a 305 and a quadrajet carb. als0o dual gas tank, im currently restoring it so i can use it. is this engine good enough for this truck?

100$ dam here in my town u get a rusted up old chevy for 1000 dollars or 600$ dang thats a good buy. a 4wheel drive usually goes up to 2,500$

Good buy! I just bought a 1984 2500 GMC for $1500. But yours is in about the same shape. Lucky deal!

Thats exactly what I have too. '84 GMC Sierra 2500, with a 5.7lt. 350 V8 bigblock. Mine has dual gas tanks and the origional Delco Radio.

how does your truck have a 350 big block 350s where a small block so you truck has a small block

Nah, I turned it around a few months later for like $600. Couldn't justify keeping it in addition to my other 8 cars.
