Everybody who wants to do this - Digitech Whammy is the key. You'd still need to sequence in music software like cubase or logic - but the digitech whammy is your pitch shifter. It will also do you the Invincible solo, crazy New Born like sounds and stuff like the solo from Killing In The Name by RATM =) Versatile, not just a one trick pony pedal, so I'm getting it. Should be able to find one for around £150, if not less.

Not exactly 100% correct. The sound Matt makes is cause through his kaoss. Look at the live at Wembley. You can see it clearly there. Unless you're hiding one in your pants....

ok the tings you have to have is: 2 pinch pedals (digitech whammy) 2 analog sequencers (16 step) big fuzz lead 800 the lead 800 is set to clean the big fuzz is set to Volume 10. sustain 5. tone 5. the one pinch pedal are set to whammy -1 octave and the other is set to +1 octave... both set dry/wet all the way to wet. the seqencers are wery hard to tell what to set them to so i can maby send you a picture of it.. just tell me your E-Mail and ill send it.. hope it helps

@FunkyArgentinean the things i said was to a program called guitar rig 3, if u gonna make it from pedals i suggest u use 1 digitech whammy and a MIDI cable to connect to ur pc.. then u need a program called cubase and from there u can control the shifting of the pinches. and ofc some distortion or fuzz :))

I don't know what he uses, but I've figured how to do it perfectly and it sounds perfect. All you need is a Digitech Whammy pedal and a little Java program I wrote. And either a MIDI port on your soundcard or (this is much easier) a MIDI-to-USB cable. Send me a message if you want me to send you the program.
