This is amazing. However it bothers me that the description describes them as a buzz band. The National are the opposite of a buzz band. They released 2 albums that had absolutely no buzz around them and were a band for 6 years before they had any kind of success at all, and now 11 years and 5 albums into their career they have an album in the top 10. The National didn't get where they are due to buzz. They have been an extremely gradual success that got here without the help of "buzz"

@brandonbuttery Thats not a play on anything. Brooklyn Buzz Band is commonly used with lots of bands coming out of Brooklyn. Yeasayer, Chairlift, White Rabbits, they've all been called it.

Also, Bloodbuzz is on High Violet.

I agree completely. My brother and I saw them at Massey Hall last June--and Matt was crawling over the speakers, and up the centre aisle, screaming his lungs out and sipping that wine. That guy, his lyrics and something in all these melodies represents-- my small-town, slightly suburban, slightly suffocating warmed-over youth in mild, unassuming Ontario. They are being noticed for a reason.
