  • wait what? by putting your hand in the water, you're introduce a bunch of microbes and organics that the chlorine would interact with. This test doesn't prove that the chlorine was absorbed into your skin.

  • Yes, there is too much chlorine in municipal water supplies, and yes, over time it is potentially unsafe for us, BUT DO NOT manipulate your scientific evidence just to boost sales. That is unethical!

  • He suggests that his hand attracted and absorbed ALL the chlorine like a magnet. That test proves nothing.  I passed high school chemistry, did he?. 1. Why didn't he put one drop of tester on each hand to see if one developed a yellow spot. 2. Were there a few drops of concentrated chlorine in the RH glass prior to the pouring? 3. 20 drops of tester per 200ml is far too much, more than is required for a reading. 4. Bet he will sell more water filters with that kind of false advertising.

  • probably the same kind of kit for testing swimming pool water. 3 or 4 bucks at most stores.
