  • I love the doors....so much

  • The most talented and charismatic band ever.

  • esta es la buena

  • everything about this song.... YES.

  • Could be them. I think I hear Ray leading the chant.

  • I don't think Ray played this. Too simplistic. I don't hear Jim on it either. This is coming from a SUPER Doors fan of 45 years! I know my Doors-

  • "I am the mambo king...I can do anything."

  • For those who play piano, the cords to this are A, D ,E and in the left hand it's amaj dmaj emaj just you play the notes of the chords instead of the same time and to get creative add you own riffs in there

  • Wish I could get the piano sheet music for this.

  • Rayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

  • Alot of the Doors music was Latin Based..

  • @Bobtheparrot7 I can tell you why they are so popular in Mexico and Brazil. Because most of The Doors tunes are Latin base driven my friend, simple as that. If you don't believe your ears, just watch enough Ray Manzerak, Robbie Kreiger and John Densmore video's and they will all tell you the same.

  • lol its because of there roots! the musical roots!

  • They are popular world wide, however they were known to be different because of many latin beats they incorporated in their music duh!

  • Sound like La Bamba to my ears.

  • @nataliebowman79

Muahahah but you are right LOL

por ti seré, por ti seré, por ti seré.

Bailar ba bamba, ba ba bamba, ba ba bamba, la bamba. :-P

  • Didn't mean to start a revolucion...I was just saying i've notice the majority of people who like the doors now (particularly on the internet) are from either Brazil or Mexico.

  • Push push push the 2 people who disliked this off a cliff.

  • @cmskid20

hahahah ...thats some funny shit ....of a clif into a active volcano...wouldnt want them coming back now hey ? lol ....1 love to all my jim morrison fans

  • Because music is the universal language and TheDoors were one of the greatest bands of all time!

  • ...i have the soft parade cd....but this track isn't on it, i hear it for the first time now, and it's GREAT!!!

  • @Mauwimiauwi its on the deluxe version :P

  • epa ne si peder so

  • LISTEN EVERYBODY, IM FROM BRAZIL, AND NO! THE DOORS IS NOT POPULAR HERE, AND PEOPLE HERE, DO NOOT know good music, really, you DON'T want to know what is popular here, REALLY, we have worse bands here than JUSTIN BIEBER, seriously

  • Thumbs Up If You Ever Pushed a Door That Says *Pull*

  • John Densmore incorporated South American music into his drumming.

  • Sounds like a lot of fun in the studio :D

  • Ray studied jazz and latin jazz in college cisco, dig?

  • what is 'falloutboy' doing uploading the doors?

  • yes as far as i know this isnt from soft parade except maybe as a bonus track that was later added.

  • IMAGINE IF THEY WOULD HAVE MORE TIME//////THEY WOULD HAVE HAVE CRANKED OUT WAY MORE TUNES////////////////////ONLY ONLY 6 YEARS KICK ASS TUNES THAT KEEP ON KEEPIN ON////////

  • hahah i love this!

  • hm...this song isn´t on my soft parade

  • Dude love the latin they added to this

  • The doors are so fucking popular in mexico because a lot of people here dislike

the mainstream music (banda and corridos)

but its still like "underground" music and that's give a special sense to the music,

because when you meet someone who likes, yo feel like a frinendship with him

and supports to continue on this way

  • it kinda sounds like the intro to the peanuts.

  • salsa carnales!!

  • i like listenin to this song while i eat cornflakes..

  • I didn't look through all the comments to see if someone else mentioned it, but this is a redo of the Joe Cuba Sextet song "Push Push Push". They also have a song called "Bang Bang" . . . fun stuff.

  • why they are so popular in south america?well i think becouse of the hot blood....yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyhhhhhhhhhhhhaa

  • I just noticed the large majority of people who still listen to the doors are either of Mexican or Brazilian decent. No intent to hate. Just saying that you really don't see alot of American band such as The Doors gain that much foreign popularity.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Ummm not true man. Alot of other races love them

  • The Doors says SALSA!!!

  • Two words...

    Push Push!

  • what a sharade. sounds like some drunken mexicans

  • AAbsolute BS.

  • Bullshit - not a trace of Densmore- he was a strict jazz drummer.

  • Sounds like a 'Blow' Party...

    twist and shout

  • @KungFuCane

    me?

  • Sounds like a 'Blow' Party...

  • It's like being in Veracruz, drinking some toritos at the bay. Nice mood!

  • sounds like "La Bamba"

  • Can someone tell me why The Doors are so fucking popular in Mexico and Brazil

  • @BoBtheparrot7 cause they're so fucking good. Cheers from Mexico.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 i dunno myself but my guess is because they live near Mexico i honestly dont know.

  • @falloutboy4509 cause their the fucking best and proly cause Mexicans and Brazilians know good music.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 here in Mexico we love The Doors!! they came in 1969! the first band!, they influenced a lot of mexican bands in the late 60's-early70's

  • @GOORVY That seems like a more rational answer. Its good to know that an American band can get such a good reception by our Mexican brothers.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Funny you should ask that. Jim Morrison asked the same thing when the Doors played Mexico in the early 70's, and was told that in Mexico, everybody wants to kill their father and fuck their mother.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 idk, im brazilian and i dont know many people that like doors, its just me!

  • @BoBtheparrot7 hmm thats like asking why pink floyd and led zeppelin and the beatles are so popular in america......my only answer is music is like an international language that everybody understands

  • @BoBtheparrot7 bc alot of the beats are latin style

  • @BoBtheparrot7 they are popular all trough the world my friend... i'm from argentina

  • @BoBtheparrot7 I think it's because their guitar player does flamenco oriented styles

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Because the mexican's music is really stupid, well not all but the mainstream

(corridos and banda) but you should listen to a couple of this song and you will agree with me,,,

  • @arieltepic dude are you stupid mexican music is awesome shut up

  • @BoBtheparrot7

    Because they're awesome, perhaps?

  • @BoBtheparrot7 As someone who is learning Portuguese, I think any music where they sing slowly and clearly is easy to understand to someone who speaks a foreign language. Plus the music is great! Also Lionel Ritchie is popular in Iraq. He sings very slowly.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Because they like good music.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Probably because their music is timeless, sounds like it is a hot band that just came out even now. I remember my nephew asking me when the Doors would be touring back in the 80's, hated to tell him they wouldn't be :)

Suspect The Dead will have the same "mystic"

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Probably because their music is timeless, sounds like it is a hot band that just came out even now. I remember my nephew asking me when the Doors would be touring back in the 80's, hated to tell him they wouldn't be :(

Suspect The Dead will have the same "mystic"

  • @BoBtheparrot7 because people in Mexico and Brazil have culture and a great taste in music. And I am British...

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Because you can understand the words. Jim's range is pretty common too.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 i guess is because they have a very latino beat in many other song theres videos where ray said that they rover from everyway! sorry hahaha IM fron MEXICO im not talented at english.

  • @BoBtheparrot7

Because Rays organ and Robbies guitar add a carnival like sound and atmosphere to the Doors music.

and south of the border they recognize the sound, its cultural.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 because they know what good music is, plain and simple

  • @BoBtheparrot7 probably because of the morrison hotel album

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Thats easy , coz Brazilians and Mexicans are fuckin' cool ! hehe

  • @BoBtheparrot7 As a mexican american i frankly don't know myself, I think its the same reason we like it as well, and also influenced many of their native rock bands.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 cuz they kick ass!!!!!!

  • @BoBtheparrot7 they are also very popular in Chile and argentina

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Because... the Doors are so fucking amazing !! Do you want another explication??.. Asi es mi estimado amigo Gringo :D

  • @BoBtheparrot7 maybe because they are amazing

  • @BoBtheparrot7 because they are just fucking awesome

  • @BoBtheparrot7 Because they're the best!

  • @BoBtheparrot7

Because in mexico ''Escuchamos buena musica''

  • @BoBtheparrot7 They're good every where, numb nuts

  • @BoBtheparrot7 cause they are still the symbol of rock, decades are gone but real fans of classic rock knows who The Doors are, in Brazil there are too many fans, and thanx to my brother who had a cd of Doors, so I started listening to them and in my opinion is the greatest band!

  • @BoBtheparrot7

I think your joke went over alot of peoples heads hahaha

  • @BoBtheparrot7 im in Argentina and The Doors rock my world. its universal

  • @aminowanaa1 for sure man. But still I see a great majority of Latino/ South American poster/commentors.

  • @BoBtheparrot7 they used alot of Latin rhytms in their songs, like the bossa nova beat from brasil in break on through

  • This is actually the only Doors song I like. I like it a lot.

  • @thecirrusman piss off then

  • @thecirrusman You are a sad strange little man.

  • Sounds like they're doing a tribute to Vince Guaraldi. I like the song but definately sounds like some rifts from "Cast Your Fate to the Wind".

  • I must learn this.

  • @RayManzarekGod

Just learn the chords to Louie Louie and make em a little fancy. It sounds like Louie Louie. Sing that with this playing and it works lol

  • @AgentMurphy286 Hahah its the latin Louie Louie!

  • Any Doors album is good to trip too. The only song that i think would not be a good trip song would be "When the Music is Over"... that's a heroin dong right there.

  • @SerenityIsTheMan ... What!? Heroin? Where do you get that from??! ... Whereas I've been practically living among and even with heroin addicts for years (...years ago, thank ... someone!), I've never made that "connection", and honestly I don't believe there is any. Just the way I see it.

  • @SerenityIsTheMan lmao ur a loser

  • @SerenityIsTheMan not a good trip? "When the music's over?" WTF man?

  • @spraitazz You hatin?

  • GIANNA GIANNA GIANNA SOSTENEVA...

  • kush kush kush =]]

  • mh fail song :/

  • i understand why it wasn't included on the record.

  • Sounds like "Louie Louie"... Kewl song though.

  • is this a good album to shroom to?

  • The Soft Parade? I would say so, but Strange Days or Morrison Hotel are better shrooming albums. @SpassMacher2000

  • @SpassMacher2000 I did. Yeah!

  • @SpassMacher2000 Strange Days is deffinately the best album to shroom too.

  • Is this the compilation that has "The End"---the more or less 'full" version that was used in "Apocalypse Now"? Please let us know where to find it.

  • This wasnt on Soft Parade the main album is this a B-side of the vinyl?

  • This is a very good instrumental by The Doors. I do think they could have done without the carrying on in the background, though, and I wish Jim had been singing on here.

  • This is a very good instrumental!

  • I like that song I think in push push all day jajajajjaaj

  • morrison is god

  • @cagadakaka I agree. Jim Morrison really is the creator of life. I've seen visions of him. He is Jah Rastafari... He is the Lizard King. He really can do anything. Now He is Mr. Mojo Risin. He's keepin' on risin'. Vision Quest...In The Wilderness Is The Best!!! 2012, Jahzilla will rise from the ocean to free us from all of them...........

  • This sounds like it belongs on a Charlie Brown TV cartoon special. I've been listening to the doors since 1966, never heard this piece before !!

  • I LOVE THEM!!!! :):):)

  • this is actually a semi-cover of an old latin boogaloo track by Joe Cuba

  • push push push!!!!

  • so sweeeet.

  • who would a thunk of it? I Love it! way out west field. cool as fuck! no questions with the latin carryon. only the DOORS...

  • @arcane231 .. Well you said it! ... '^L^,

  • it sounds like la bamba

    is like a cuban rithm

  • This is an unreleased song. It only appears on the Soft Parade Album if you have The Doors Perception Box Set. A must have for any Doors fan, I promise you that. Whisky, Mystics, And Men is another bonus track and it's absolutely fantastic!

  • yeah its a great tune, its live right?

  • I think it was recorded in the studio, but just never released. I don't know if they've ever performed it.

  • Whiskey, Mystics, and Men is Great, so is Who Scared You.

  • The best Christmas gift I ever received! I can't get enough of The Doors.

  • One great doors jam. Love this even more than Blues for Lonnie and You Need Meat (Don't Go No Further). Really dig the latin vamp on the baby grand and how everybody is just throwing in random spanish words!

  • It makes me wonder if this was an improv while waiting for Jim to arrive because he was notorious in making his own schedule to come into the studio sometimes he would show sometimes he didnt.. Btw that is Ray on lead and he is joined by all that are in the studio including Paul Rothchild their producer.

  • @krugin72 ...Wow. Fantastic. That was a good comment, wasn't it? You've successfully notified the people of youtube that you've read a book about the Doors. Well done. Who would have thought that of a Doors fan, eh?

  • @mrgooders ... Wow if thats the big insult it took you 9 months to write gotta hand it to the school that taught you...

  • @krugin72 Yeah. You can't spell, punctuate, or work out that I only saw your comment yesterday. Your education MUST have been better than mine.

  • @mrgooders I actually noticed you only wrote it yesterday, for all I know you could have seen it last week. If you have to come on here and start insulting people it would'nt surprise me in the least. I get it though its your way of getting attention, well you got it congrats....

  • @krugin72 And you get your attention by pretending to know a lot about the Doors, well done.

  • @mrgooders Wow you figure it me out. Its actually called sharing knowledge, don't be jealous that I've read a lot and seen and heard a lot about my favorite band, which by the way I've been a big fan of The Doors for a very long time. Going on more than 30 years. If your not a fan and just want to insult people on here go somewhere else.

  • @krugin72 What? I am a fan. That's why I watched this video. Har har, you nonsensical hypocrite, you.

  • @mrgooders Har, har? what the heck is that? Insult me all you want you bandwagon fan. By the way you don't have to be a fan to watch something and I'm nonsensical wow buddy you hit the nail on the head with that one..

  • @krugin72 Har har. It is a laugh. Now you tell me what it means to be a 'band wagon fan'. And yes you are indeed. You put extra words in sentences(which you don't punctuate properly) and then have a go at my education. I'm fifteen, I was kicked out of school last year, and I seem to have educated myself a lot better than your schools educated you. My point is this: don't try to look like you know a lot when you clearly do not.

  • @krugin72 ... Yeah, obviously it's Ray! ... It's actually quite fun to hear how everybody joins in. It's also obviously originally something they've made for the fun of it sometime when Jim wasn't around (... well, as you say too). - I love it!

  • @krugin72 yeah ive always wondered that too! because i know that Jim would stumble in drunk or high like an hour later.

  • Yeah this is a Bonus Track.? It almost seems like thats Manzarek on vocals, I can't hear the vocals at all..

  • This is a bonus track that wasn't on the original album.

  • this sounds great

add me if your a doors fan!!!!

  • Dang!! Is this really them??

  • I really like this song, it's different from other Doors-songs, but i like it!!!

  • whoa dance

  • great great great
