For those who play piano, the cords to this are A, D ,E and in the left hand it's amaj dmaj emaj just you play the notes of the chords instead of the same time and to get creative add you own riffs in there
@Bobtheparrot7 I can tell you why they are so popular in Mexico and Brazil. Because most of The Doors tunes are Latin base driven my friend, simple as that. If you don't believe your ears, just watch enough Ray Manzerak, Robbie Kreiger and John Densmore video's and they will all tell you the same.
The music of The Doors has a strange energy that permeates beyond the mind to the fabric of our very being. Jim Morrison was a very impelling person who connected with a vibe that was much deeper and inspired than the projections of his ego. The source of his inspiration has now been explained and made clearer for anyone seeking the truth of life. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then open The Present and read what it says.

I just noticed the large majority of people who still listen to the doors are either of Mexican or Brazilian decent. No intent to hate. Just saying that you really don't see alot of American band such as The Doors gain that much foreign popularity.
@BoBtheparrot7 here in Mexico we love The Doors!! they came in 1969! the first band!, they influenced a lot of mexican bands in the late 60's-early70's
@BoBtheparrot7 Funny you should ask that. Jim Morrison asked the same thing when the Doors played Mexico in the early 70's, and was told that in Mexico, everybody wants to kill their father and fuck their mother.
@BoBtheparrot7 hmm thats like asking why pink floyd and led zeppelin and the beatles are so popular in america......my only answer is music is like an international language that everybody understands
@BoBtheparrot7 As someone who is learning Portuguese, I think any music where they sing slowly and clearly is easy to understand to someone who speaks a foreign language. Plus the music is great! Also Lionel Ritchie is popular in Iraq. He sings very slowly.
@BoBtheparrot7 Probably because their music is timeless, sounds like it is a hot band that just came out even now. I remember my nephew asking me when the Doors would be touring back in the 80's, hated to tell him they wouldn't be :)

@BoBtheparrot7 It has to do with Morrison's greek tragic edapusrex themes and over all literary discourse specially in the height of international revolutions through out the Americas not only Mexican's 1968 University student demonstrations that left 400 students dead by Mexican military. This is why the Doors concert was changed to a diff smaller upscale venue in 1969. Any Doors album is good to trip too. The only song that i think would not be a good trip song would be "When the Music is Over"... that's a heroin dong right there.
@SerenityIsTheMan ... What!? Heroin? Where do you get that from??! ... Whereas I've been practically living among and even with heroin addicts for years (...years ago, thank ... someone!), I've never made that "connection", and honestly I don't believe there is any. Just the way I see it.
This is a very good instrumental by The Doors. I do think they could have done without the carrying on in the background, though, and I wish Jim had been singing on here.

the mainstream music (banda and corridos)
but its still like "underground" music and that's give a special sense to the music,
