@Samluvchocolate a lot of people are offended by the term dark skinned because it usually connotes "ugly" or "unattractive" which is really unfortunate. But when I hear non blacks use the term they use it more in a descriptive sense. For example, olive skin would be considered dark skinned. A lot of black ppl are conditioned this way, not all though. It's something that has to be unlearned. I wish more black people would unlearn this horrible conditioning. But anyway, Tomiko is stunning! :)

Modeling is a VERY tough profession. I dated a girl once who tried to get into modeling. A 6'0" black girl with shoulder-length hair (natural). A guy once asked for her autograph as we walked down the street. When we walked into a room, even other women would look, she was that beautiful. Did she make it as a model? Nope! They said she looked too old. Too young. Too tall. Always something.

If you think you have the goods, try it. Just don't take any rejection personally. And have a backup plan.
