i watched as that Zo6 with just a tune and longtubes easily played with you.

But thats the natue of the Zo6...tuned its right at 500 whp.

add the headers and i can see it being trouble for a heavier 502 rwhp car.

looking at the video description for that video the poster says "

the Camaro is the 6-speed 35th Anniversary Edition SS. It has a Flowmaster catback, SLP lid, bellows, Granatelli MAF, an ecu tune, and drag radials"...so it was basically a stock SS with a few bolt-ons and tires.

Its lighter, its gears aggressivily. I own a c6 zo6 and it destroys

F- bodies of approximately the same HP.

however if the F body is an Auto with stall and gears ..there is a good chance the Vette could lose.

But Hp to Hp the c6 Zo6 is so well suitet to any 0-150 run.

the gearing and ratio's stock.....are killers.

Still thats a nice F body......my new SS is S/c and i think i can keep up with you.Big torque + 6 auto

Mike @ Rapidmotorsports tuned it. It melted down the side of #7 piston, the compression ratio was also borderline for pump gas (11.7:1)

I only got about 5k miles after it was tuned and the motor only had 18k

Just make sure who ever tunes yours knows what their doing

Ok its stock 346ci but "is it stock botome end ?" what pistons and whats CR are you running ?

The car has 19,000 miles on it. Completely STOCK botom end. No flycutting. Stock pistons and rods. However the compression is 11/7 and I run 93 octane pump gas in it. The car runs great and idles at 950rpm, but Rapid Motorsports told me that when I go to the track to put a bottle of Torco* in the tank. Mike put a beautiful combo together here and needs to get some credit for it. If you would like to see the dyno graph let me know.
