Don't get any of them. m15x is a total failure. The m5550 is old, and out of date. Get yourself an M17x, or wait for the rumored M15x, which is an improved m15x.

That dock is an add-on called Rocketdock and people can get it on any computer they want.

It doesnt come with the alienware.....

try buying a laptop heat preventer.

You can buy them at your local electronic store. Its flat, and has 2 fans underneath, that keep your Laptop cool.

with xp is fine, the vista makes the games run a bit slower and i did not notice much of a difference with dx10 and dx9, or you should do dual boot but the laptop must have 2 HD's

I have an m5550 and it still sucks , the battery life is terrible and that kills the portablility - its not very good for gaming either as vista has many issues with alot of games and its high demand for memory makes it play slower than it should with the processor and memory it comes with.

the x1400 will run both games, but not at high setting, if you can get the nvidia 7600 because if you plan to upgrade the ati x1400 later it will be very hard to find one.

you should probably go fo the m5550 with a Nvidia 7600 and you wont have any problems running crysis at lower/med settings or guitar hero but i'm getting the Alienware m17x when it comes out so i will be able to run crysis at high settings with dual m8800 gtx SLi

Alright koolness, like i said i would only want it for games like gh3, crysis, gow, cod4, bioshock, lordoftherings some other games too, its a hard choice but i have until friday to choose m9750 or m5550, 4 of my friends said get the M5550, after looking how smooth cod4 runs on ur video on the m5550 i might get that !!! looks very nice.
