  • This is truth folks. Better listen again.

  • sounds like a yuk yuk Huckabee supporter duh why hasn;t gomer pyle dropped out he won't win hes Mccains Stalking Horse Cliton+Carter+Huckabee = McCain RINOs God help us we need a true Conservative !!!

  • As long as Fred Thompson is on your ballot there is choice

  • A vote for Fred in the primaries is a vote for conservatism and a secure position if it goes to a brokered convention. If not then vote for the nominee there's much difference in the femaining field they are still Republicons.I ll hold my nose and vote for one them if I have to.

  • if you can't find the specific quote on the Internet .. and you choose instead to trust what someone else told you ... then you really are doing yourself on helluva disservice.

The quote you allege you were told about .. seems ridiculous, or at least taken out of context.

Bottom line is that Fred doesn't attend church. He's probably a Deist more than a Christian. Good for him.

  • I did some digging and it would appear the quote was in fact taken out of context. Do a search for a Washington Post op-ed column by Michael Gerson entitled "Callous Conservative." That's not the origin of the quote, but it should help clarify things -- although, remember, it is an op-ed. Bottom line: Fred was answering a question about whether he supports PEPFAR, President Bush's initiative to deal with the spread of AIDS in Africa. I'll let you read Gerson's column to find the answer.

  • Fred has announced his departure from the race. Goodbye Fred and thank you for your time in the race. We will miss you!

  • Ahhh .... your Pastor said. Then it must be true. Stop relying on your shepherd and get your own news.

  • It is a fair comparison ... both men did not have personal ambition for the Presidency. The point being ... that NOT having such ambition does not mean you will not be a good leader.

Of course Fred T. is no George Washington. There was only one George Washington.

  • Fred Dalton Thompson #44 I will vote no other in 2008 I will write him in if need be! I am a Fred Head and Fred Heads united stand behind Fred Dalton Thompson!! Fred nor his Supporters will endorse another candidate we will not dilute the GOP with a RINO so stand strong for America and Vote Fred Dalton Thompson!!

  • haven't respected a candidate as much as I have Fred Thompson. He was criticized for a lack of personal ambition for the Presidency by the same people (media and citizens) who are cynical about politics. Blessed with a candidate who didn't personally want the Presidency but chose to run out of a sense of duty and concern for his country (recall George Washington who also didn't want to be President) ... Republicans decided he wasn't ambitious enough.

  • I appreciate your comments, trombettas, don't listen to that idiot drivel coming from drmark1995, I've tangled with him, waste, total waste of time and space. You are exactly right and so is delburd, Fred is our ONLY choice.

  • Fred's a good man and he has my vote. Period. Those of you who don't like and are here have to answer the question, "why"?

We are here because we fear our man's about to bow out and we are not happy.

But why are yo Fred-bashers here?

  • Translation: "Your calling me out on the lame media-blaming copout hit the nail right on the head and I have no response, so I'll just throw a tantrum and call name call."

  • McCain would never even be in the running without his friend & decoy Fred siphoning votes from Huckabee. Personally I think Republicans are all stupid anyway, look, they put Generalissimo Chimpolini in power for Christ's sake. But Huck, as big of an idiot as he is, had a slightly more populist/less pro-rich schtick than your usual BushCo type GOP and so they needed to make sure an establishment type one, so they called in Fred, an old buddy of McCain's....believe it!

  • He had me until the end. we need not sacrifice our blood for others without a congressional declaration of war! Its still "we the people" right?

  • "Now I'm off to screw my teenage wife, and take my nap."

    -Fred

  • arlg8or6137l,

She's 40 years old, you complete and utter retarded excuse for human being.

  • So over 20 years difference in their ages is good- you're a freak!

  • Ohhhhh.. good one atlg8or6137, I am a freak, a freak for truth, honesty, integrity and decency. What the frig do you care if they are 20 (actually 25) years apart? HE IS A LEADER IN EVERY RESPECT, A TRUE CONSERVATIVE WHO WILL KEEP THIS COUNTRY SAFE AND FREE AND THRIVING. Even with a 25 year younger wife. Keeps him spry.

  • Yup, I can see you getting your "freak" on for Dead Fred, and the "integrity and decency" exemplified by his years as a fornicator. Personally, I like my leaders to at least try to live the values they push, not brag about fucking women outside the boundaries of a committed, marital relationship.

  • I am a Fredhead myself. I traveled to S. Carolina to attend this rally and loved seeing Fred talk. He is a true conservative who makes some great points. I hope that he is elected President.

  • LOLOL

    Republitard Copout #1!!

"Whenever things don't go your way... BLAME THE MEDIA!!"

  • Yawn.... As soon as I see whining about the "lieral media" you're dropped from the list of people to be taken seriously and the rest of your post is irrelevant

  • and you know this how?

  • Isn't G.W. Bush one of yours? By that I mean we've had "conservative" Republican leadership for 8 years, which all the Republican candidates fail to mention independently in any significant way, and people and our country are worse off overall. I'll take a big "No Thank you" to some more like fifth place Fred.

  • drmark1995,

Yet he without sin cast the first stone. Obviously your a perfect person, though I thought there was only one that walked this earth and then went to heaven to be with his Father, my bad, they obviously forgot you.

  • freakforruss, we communicate again. I was responding to the maggie1715 about those who attack Fred personally have no ammo on his principles. It's not about me. If you are going to champion conservative principles for the nation, however, be better if you lived them yourself. Fred seems to take joy in his fornicating, judging by his quotes. Do as I say not as I do?

  • Please explain "judging by his quotes".

  • To parapharase for sure, because it is not in front of me, he said: "I chased a lot of women and a lot of women chased me. I'm glad to say they caught me, too."

It's something like that, Wikipedia or other sources will have it more accurately, but it indicates "connection" with women when he was unmarried.

  • Ohh, he was being a...wait for it...MAN! Would you like it better if he was chasing men and they were chasing him? Good grief, guess he's normal, dad gummit! Who'd a thunk it!? Can we have an intelligent conversation here, please? Somebody?

  • It's interesting that you ask for "proof" of his fornication and then respond by excusing it. You, meaning "freakforruss," since you are easily confused, may want to reconsider touting Fred as a good, "personal" example of conservative principles. Unless ""being a man" trumps fidelity and the sin of fornication.

  • BTW, drmark1995,

"Be better if you lived them yourself." Are you accusing me of not having conservative principles or somehow not living a conservative lifestyle? Do tell. No really, do tell, I'm fascinated by your obvious understanding of my being. Are you going by my channel? What are your credentials?

  • You may be so self-centered to think the reference "you" was you, but it was "Fred," not you. Conservatives are big on one man, one woman, and kids. Despite 50% divorce rate. Fred is no better, having a child in 2nd marriage that may not reach majority while he is alive. If you think "being a man" is fucking outside of marriage and commitment, then "you," meaning freakforruss, needs to to rethink being a man, father, husband, and conservative values.

  • WHHHAAAATTT? First of all, I'M A WOMAN!!! Second of all, You have no idea why his first marriage ended, only he, his ex, and God know, and third of all, he got a second chance at raising children, did you have to go the route of getting dirty? Why, why can't you speak intelligently without bringing up things you have no idea about. Why? Again, I'm a woman. Think you got that?

  • It doesn't matter if you are a man or a woman, but it does matter if you can follow your own train of thought, and you haven't. I'm not geting "dirty," whatever that means to you, but Fred seriously implies he had sex outside of marriage, WHICH IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE VALUE! And you still have not responded to it. Maybe you should hump his leg... It's not about being a man or woman. He has not exemplified "conservative" values in his personal life. Get over it.

  • drmark1995,

The only thing I'm "getting over" is corresponding with you. You need to get over being so self righteous. Look in the mirror, buddy, look in the mirror. Done.

  • Yes, you can't defend his fornication in the end. It's not about me, it's about Fred, who wants to prescribe who can sleep with who (against gay couples, yes?) but slept with whoever he wanted outside of marriage. If that's "conservative" values, then it's not too difficult to subscribe to them. By the way: I'm married,1x, 19 years, and no infidelity. I can look in the mirror. But I'm not running for president, and I have no interest in telling you how to live. Unlike Fred.

  • hey freakforruss,

I looked at some of the Fred videos on your you-tube page and couldn't help but notice one in which Fred is indicated as supporting one man and one woman for a family. Was that taken after his fornicating? 1st or 2nd marriage? Go Fred go. (You can still hump his leg, if it makes you happy, because I'm not prescribing values, but Fred is.)

  • I must apologize to you, freakforruss. Given your defensiveness about Fred and his fornicating, you must be one of the women he fucked. If you had a "love child," I hope he is supporting him/her. Sorry for revealing your relationship, but it still is not consistent with conservative values.

  • Where's your proof that he committed adultry? and your personal dislike of someone does not mean he is not the best leader of this country.Your views have no basis except you simply have another choice for President and you have that right,so back off and respect ours unless you have something that could possibly prove our choice otherwise.

  • Didn't say adultery, said fornicating, which is sex outside of marriage. Fred is "noted" 2 have been quite a lady's man. The paraphrase quote, which is out in the world for quite some time now, is that Fred said he chased many ladies & many lades chased him, & he let himself & enjoyed getting caught by them. Maybe he didn't mean sex, but I doubt it. Do you care to enter into a conversation of how as a "conservative" this is "okay?"

  • Those who attack Fred personally have no ammo to attack his record or his priciples.Thats more than we can say about those who remain unnamed so as not to inflame those stupid assholes who spew shit! There I've wanteed to get that off my chest for months!Go Fred!

  • His "record" includes a fifth place projection in FL primary and no primary wins. His "record" is light, and mostly words not deeds. However, he does have the trophy wife, wife #2, younger than his daughter, and he is an admitted fornicator. I guess those are the conservative values we should endorse. maggie1715, don't let these facts discourage you from humping Fred's tired, old leg. If he wakes up, I think he'll like it.

  • LOL!! GREAT POST!!

Fred's a phoney. Most of us can see it. But his sycophants are blind to the facts.

Just another Lobbyest looking to cash in on his government contacts.

  • Fred's a phoney, eh? And you are God's gift of honesty and integrity to the World! Where have you been all our lives!!

Lobbyists make MUCH more money being lobbyists than they do as President. Many politicians, including their chiefs of staff go onto jobs as lobbyists. I know one chief who is making astronomical money after leaving his job as CoS.

  • Yeah, they make a lot of money, harming the nation for short term financial gains by their employers

  • YTCommunityWatch2,

Wow, good come back, what else you got? You know, I am capable of typing those same letters and forming those same words, however, intelligent people can actually use other words, productive words to get their message across. Apparently you are incapable of it.

  • gcsecsi,

I agree with you. I'm ashamed to say so many of my fellow S. Carolinians voted for two candidates who where the name conservative/Republican in NAME ONLY! Truth betold, I don't think alot of Americans even know what true conservatism is anymore, Fred is truly a dying breed, and I love him dearly for his fight to bring the Reagan coalition to what it use to be. Shame on them.

  • yes, freakfrorruss, he is a "dying breed," dying before our eyes with his "moral" choice of a 2nd wife younger than his daughter, dying with his "conservative values" of self-identified fornication, and dying in his fifth place status in Fl among Republicans. Let's hope his breed is dying...

  • Huckabee doesn't need any help in losing an election. Why don't you pitch a squirrel into your popcorn popper and read the Constitution...

  • fuckabee is a douche and everyone except the evengelical nuts who throw their money to pat robertson knows that.

  • What's your fucking problem? You don't like Fred because he realizes EXACTLY what's going on in this world.

  • YTCommunityWatch2,

You are a vile individual and hopefully your ridiculous and childish rants will be seen by others as I see them, a waste of space on these vids, just like you are a waste of space on this planet.

  • people mock fred for being old yet mccain is older than he is.

  • Great man, and the most conservative candidate. It will be a darn shame if he drops out. Fred 2008!

  • Good speech. Unfortunately, it looks very much like its a good bye one. He's visiting his sick mom over the weekend and reevaluating, not a good sign. Fred's a good man but, I imagine he will drop out Monday.

I hope he would consider a VP slot with whomever the nominee will be. He would certainly make voting for McCain, Giuliani or Romney much more palatable to many conservatives around the country.

  • If those "Conservatives" were so hyped to vote for Fred, he'd have done better in the primaries, caucuses and polls.

    The guy's got no juice.

  • Thank goodness he'll be dropping out soon.

  • Yes, BillBones81, Thank goodness, this evil, vile, horrible, cuss laden, life destroying disgusting individual. Honestly, what has this man done to you that makes you feel so relieved if he drops out? He is honest, courageous, courteous, moralistic, loves his country, loves his family and wants to keep this country safe. Yes, THANK GOD he'll be dropping out soon. Your wrong, he's a precious commodity, and I for one will support him all the way. Love you Senator Thompson, you are my hero.

  • Woah - settle down, hoss. I don't think the guy is a good candidate. Welcome to democracy.

  • And your pick, Huckabee, McCain, Romney, Guiliani? None of them can match the conservative record of Fred. None of them can match the policy plans he has. None of them can bring the party back to what it once was, Fred can. Not a good candidate? What are your credentials for a "good" candidate? Democracy, fine, but on a Fred video, us Fredheads defend our guy, just like everyone else does for their choice. Welcome to Democracy.

  • Fred can't do any of that either, because he's unable to inspire the required support. Without that, all the concervative credentials in the world don't mean spit.

  • I know when you freepers travel outside your little echo-chamber you're shocked (SHOCKED I TELL YOU) to find out other conservatives don't think like you do.

  • Other conservatives? Don't think you know what the word means. Don't think a lot of so called conservatives knows what the word means anymore. When Huckabee, McCain and Romney can pull the stunts they have pulled and wear the mantle Conservative, I'm convinced you all have completely gotten away from the true meaning of the word. God help us.

  • Thompson got whipped in one of the most conservative states in America. If he can't win there, then the conservatives aren't buying what he's selling. Get over it an move on.

  • Please spread the word on Romney, the guy that will say anything to anyone just to get a vote. I'm sure you RP supporters can do something about it. And inform the old folks about him too 'cos they seem to be the gullible ones (no offense to them).
