Great video! I reckon you cannot head the ball on if you are the player in possession, but if you come across the ball in open play, head away! This is how I ref it anyway.
A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.

1. The player headed the ball before he ran into touch and returned to the field before catching it so the ball was always in play.
2. A header is not a knock on under the laws of the game.
3. The player who headed the ball was NOT Alex Nielsen, who played on the other wing, it was Alex Wilcockson, nickname "Scrappy"

IRB definition of a knock-on:
A knock-on occurs when a player loses possession of the ball and it goes forward, or when a player hits the ball forward with the hand or arm, or when the ball hits the hand or arm and goes forward, and the ball touches the ground or another player before the original player can catch it.
So this is not a knock-on.
