Omg this is horrible! For starters Scottland, Island, Wales and Britain are all separate. And your speaking or trying to, with a posh english accent, which is what all people outside the UK seem to think we speak with. Accentwise, though, I know English people who talk with the same or similar accents as this. I've also been accused of being American, Australian, South African - and I'm English, I just don't have a specific regional accent. Also, some parts of East Anglia have a lilt to their accent that sounds aussie.

It just goes to show that people's expectations of "British" accent aren't necessarily correct.

But...a geography lesson might be helpful ><
