always felt so sorry seing that brilliant songwriter drinking himself to death. when he left the pogues it wasnt the same anymore and i sentimentally listened to the "old good times" records of them.

i ve seen so many vids of shane that broke my heart, but its so good to see him nearly clean and without help on stage with the old crew. i think its the first time, that he doesnt stumble and even better - the first time ever i understand what he is singing. god bless you shane
