What a pity . Was the pianist told to play at that speed? How much better the girl could performed at a proper speed Andante. Listen to Ramon Vargas and you will hear what I mean.
Slow it down and post it again and lets hear what you can really do.
I thought it was beautiful. and about the speed, how do you guys know if they arranged for it to be at that speed. maybe she had a time limit to meet for the show. I don't know. but it shouldn't matter. she sounded beautiful, keep it up darling.
Yes it is a good Idea to slow down, but definitily your voice color is gorgeus, talk to your teacher to teach you more voice changes, crescendo, decrescendo, other "colorature" your voice will become powerful!
While I am sympathetic to the differing views on tempo, this was a bit too fast. (This often happens when accompanists know that there is a nice steak supper and a glass of claret waiting for them).
I disagree. Everyone has there own opinion On tempo. Im singing this piece and i prefer it at a faster tempo. GREAT JOB SWEETIE I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW AMAZING YOU SOUNDED KEEP IT UP AND YOU'LL GO FAR!!! :D
@martigra1g Everyone has their own preference. However, although to be respected, it doesn't make it correct. Stylistically speaking, the tempo is just to fast for this particular aria. She does have a beautiful voice. All she needs is a little bit of training on the diction of Italian and another accompanist who can coach her about the stylistic subtleties that are often overlooked by untrained accompanists.
great voice; however, in the future try to pronounce your Italian "carre" with the proper vowel sound. You use (ray) instead (eh)...other than that, it was killer.
Great tone and vibrato, but too fast of a tempo, slow down . Enjoy the regular tempo of the song, you voice would sound much more beautiful than it does here. Sometimes your voice dies out, perhaps that could be due to lack of breath and the only reason that you have lack of breath is because the tempo it too fast, don't push yourself too hard. You have a wonderful voice, slow it down or else you'll wear it down to nothing. Also, keep a straight back, don't jerk your shoulders back like you did!
You have a fantastic voice :) This is absolutely. I would have loved to see what you'd done with it at a bit slower a tempo. Great power and vibrato. Jealous of your talent, in a big way.
This is a little too fast, but I like it. You have a great voice. My voice teacher told me, at one point, that you can take it at whatever speed fits best with you, but also sound well at the same time. Bononcini didn't write the tempo markings, the editor of the music book did. Other than the speed, it was beautiful.
Creo que cuando tocan el piano de esta manera la vocalista no puede hacer mas que cantar igual de rápido y es una lástima porque no se aprecia bien la vocalización.
Woah i've never heard this piece played that fast before. Who's decision was that ?It's makes a pretty dramatic effect which is quite nice but I think it might've sounded better slower. You have a great voice though. It's very powerful and your vibrato is great.
oh my goodness! This is so fast! I think you would sound so much more beautiful if you took it at a slower and more relaxed pace. It seems like some of this is the piano player's fault!!!!
You have beautiful tone though, try not to "shout" through some of the ends of phrases. Good job
WAY TO FAST!!! TAKE YOUR TIME

Much too fast!!! The tempo of this aria should be "Andante" which is moderately slow, not break-neck speed.

@chilledminx So right, way to fast. I'm singing this song and even if I wasn't everyone who knows music knows that Andante isn't nearly that fast.

this isn't bad at all, but if you keep your tongue pressing your throat like that, you'll lose your voice
