@wescoolya Maybe, but this problem also applies to crankers because of water pressure. Even so, it's still such a ludicrous argument because a situation where a person is in a car that's underwater doesn't happen in real life.

With needle based gauges, the sensors can actually break, so you don't know how much gas is in the car and all that shit. Trust me, the sensors in my mom's car are actually broken right now. The gas needle is odd and the MPH needle doesn't work at all.

I would say the cars blow up if the engine either overheats or gets completely damaged.
