I don't think there is a limit to cost, the engines are 1300 ford pushrod engines, with a ford 4 or 5sp box and back axle. Chassis is built from box steel so if you can weld you could make one yourself cheaply, with fibre glass/ali bodywork.
Mods to the engine are limited and tyres are road tyres so the idea is for it to be a cheap way to go racing, but as with most things you can spend a lot of money if you want to!
It was an eventful day! Anthony qualified first in the main race, and finished fifth which is his best result so far! Despite having broken the radiator and having to fit a new one between races!
John was going well but his engine blew in the final so that wasn't so good...
Kevin had a bit of a shunt, we managed to get the wishbone straightened out, borrowed a new steering rack, fixed the busted distributor, but at the first corner the brakes failed to work properly!!!
