  • I've been doing this for a month and a half now and I can see that I burnt the upper part of my abs, the lower part is the most difficult one, but these workout abs are pure gold if you apply them correctly, both physically and mentally :D. Try it !!!!!!

  • tell you the truth, I'm doing this workout nearly one year and I still have no 6pack, cos I didn't do any cardio, so don't forget running at least 3 times a week doing 30 min and you will finally get 6 abs

  • @deliciousnesss ur neck is gonna ache from supporting ur head, its fairly natural seein as the neck doesnt usually have to support it at an angle. rest a little when it starts to ache, but dont give up ur neck will strengthen just as ur stomach muscles will

  • i do these once a day. i was already eating healthy and running. but adding this to that once a day really did help me tone up. I noticed better shape after the first week. :)

  • you must build endurance. doing this 8 minute ab workout every day really does help. more muscle = more calories used during daily activities/exercises and a better supported tummy.

  • my belly was big also. you don't have to run 45 minutes,at least not at first. you need to work into it or you'll get worn down and have little or no energy for the next day. i started with a 15 minute walk/ run and it worked great. i ran one minute and walked the next until 15 minutes were up. then i gradually added time and the incline. i would suggest something like that. because you have to get into better shape before extreme work outs are effective and healthy.

  • Good for you! But 30-45 mins cardio is essential to actually starts to burn the fat.

    do it for another year and you'll probably be completely flat!

  • haha broskies. try looking at one certian spot the whole time you do a certain exercise rather than keeeping it going up and down with your torso. It makes you neck muscles stay stationary rather than assist in lifting your torso

  • Cross your arms on your chest. Don't put your arms behind your head.  You won't be tempted to pull at your neck.

  • wow, just a ton of complaints about sore necks. Support your neck with your hands and do not jerk it. all of the work should be done with the abs. No jerky motions. Just smooth fluid movements (as he'll tell you on the vid)

  • I work out at the gym every day doing cardio and weights, but as much as I worked out my abs I could never feel the burn I was looking for. This 8 minute ab thing is wonderful and I can't wait to start seeing results :D

  • ur abs are not to weak. you just arent doing them right. look up at the ceiling at all times and that should take away the neck pain and keep ur back straight. then u should feel them in ur abs.

  • It burns all fat, you cant isolate fat burning to one bit like muscle exercise, when you get your heart pumping you burn all fat. If you have belly fat you MUST do cardio as well or your just gunna build the muscle underneath that fat and you wont see anything, the cardio from this isn't enough.

    to those with neck pain: try touching just behind the ears with your fingertips instead of cupping the back of your head. like livelaughlove my pain went away as i continued the video

  • I've been doing this since summer of 2008 and i actually got really good abs from it! But you also have to eat healthy and do this almost everyday. I see that everyone is talking about the neck pain, I had it when i first started doing it but then later on it went away. Good luck everyone! :)

  • Day two and my neck does hurt, true... but I can feel it in my hidden abs! AWesome. Thank you for posting a version where the audio matches the video! Don't forget to stretch before and after performing these exercises! And moderation is the key!

  • There's no such things as instant over night results. I've searched for a while and found this to be the best exercise, remember to run and eat well. I went from flibber flabber to a sick pack in a few weeks. Just keep at it.

  • I've been doing this every night (except about 5) for 3 months, the first two or three times i did it was agony, my neck hurt the next day and so did my abs. It eases alot though as you get into the technique and as your body gets used to it. I don't notice 'pain' in some of the movements, usually the obliques but if i feel down my side i can feel them working.

  • Hey guys, I am quite new to the fitness world. I am 15 and in good health. I tried this 8 min abs workout and I feel the burn but, even though I do all I can to avoid using my neck... I still feel this really heavy strain on it. Some people have said that the more you do it then it goes away... but this sounds awful dangerous on the neck.   • ahh, I have been doing it for 9 days and totally forgot about the neck pain, tbh its the last thing he tells you to that screws your neck imo, I normally felt fine until that point. No idea if its safe / healthy, but it works :D:D (probably not the best advice)

  • Hey. Dont worry about the neck pain. It hurts because your neck muscles are not used to undergoing this type of stress. However, they will build and strenghten as you keep training and soon you'll hardly feel it at all. Another thing you should do is concentrate when doing the excersises. Dont crunch by pulling on your neck. Its quite common and causes neck pain. Your hands should be there to rest your head and lift by using yur abs, not by pulling on the neck.   • I've started using this on Aug. 20 and I've been using it since and I've been seeing a difference in my body. But I also do 8 minute arms after this and it kinda works so far. Don't forget to drink alot of water, its really exhausting.

  • its normal to have ur neck hurt the first few times.. as ur abs build up u will naturally be putting more stress on ur abs and less on ur neck

  • On the first 2 days that I did this exercise my stomache and neck was sore as hell, but you just need a good rest for couple of hours and the pain will go away. :D

  • that means you are not using proper form. You should feel no pain in your neck if your doing it right. Lift with your abs not your head.

  • actually cadio (aka aerobic exercise) is only for loosing weight, loosing fat... if you want to be all buff and manly, you have to do anarobic which are short workouts like these...
