f the only chance be safe is when her husband isn't anymore alive... it would be an act of self-defence and an effective way to get rid of him. At her place I wouldn't hesitate for a second! Why had she done nothing to defend: Learning some self-defence, having pepper-spray, gun ??? In Germany the police can't really help before something bad happens. Help yourself - or nobody can help you at the right time (that's the advise a police-man gaves to me!). Don't be victime, become the hunter!

Where they be giving safe house and a steady jop and have a fresh start a new life also these abuse women have a guardians be assigned to them their like bodyguards but they'll keep in touch with them and check up on them..also give the women a warning becon like a Watch, Neckless, Bracelet if their in danger like this one the guardian will know and the police they'll respond right away.

Hes been out for 15 years now..its so sad that he was planning a double homicide and suicide this kind of thing happens more frequently then we would like to admit. 6 years ago I read in the paper that a husband shot himself and his wife leaving their daughter to witness it all..the little girl called the police,and said " my Daddy shot my mommy" very sad

Well, the movie is dated. I dig looking at the landline phones with cords and old school minivans; stuff people of my generation grew up with. This film marks how far American society has progressed since this mid 90's era. I'm not so sure if today's society is so quick to allow a douchebag like this get away with what he's doing here as is depicted in this film. I'd like to believe we're a more civilized society nowadays.

In Finland and Sweden, for example, you can be prosecuted for injuring someone in self-defense. Mad yet? I know I am!!!
