my titan has 15368 miles on it, it sits in the garage and thats it for right know,. i put $40 in and its gone in about 6 hrs of driving around in the city, its a 2006 and is better than new and i also think they are still the best looking trucks on the market right know including the new dodge:)

On the 04 to 07 years, the rear differencial was bad quality and in many cases, the spider gears would seaze up and cause a total lock up of the up the rear diff. Also from those years the exhaust manifolds would crack after about 70,000 miles; which is about a $1200-1500 fix.

But all in all they are a great truck, tons of torque and will smoke any dodge, ford or chevy. Also they handle and ride very well compared to other brands.

Add a cold air intake and you'll realy feel the tourque.

Nissan titans are very good quality trucks, I never see one come into the shop needing repairs, actually I don't get to work on many nissans, nissan makes a good car, we do get a lot of toyotas needing repairs. I do think that this truck is not as popular as it should be, I wonder why there are so many people buying the overpriced tundra rather than buying a quality nissan titan.

I have an '08 4X4 Crew cab. It rides great and has tons of room inside. Yes, gas mileage sucks but it's a truck; what do you expect? Gets better mieage than my Dodge did. I've test driven several other brands but I'm quite happy with my descision. Great truck that I will enjoy for a long time.

my 95 straight 6 f150 can pull a 5600 lb bobcat on a 2300 lb trailer with the bed full of scrap metal no problem. Once I accidently let the guy at the concrete recycling place load 8000 lb of gravel in my 2600 lb dump trailer, and the truck was able to pull that. I would take an old american straight 6 over these new V8 any day of the week. And WTF is up with them putting pussy ass aluminum heads on these big v8's?

WOW only can tow 6500 lbs for a 5.6 not more then a V6 Ford or V6 Chevy. a I6 Jeep can tow 5000. disappointing numbers.

all foreign truck are built with style and comfort. they look 3 times better inside and out side then the american garbage. they might not be that economical, but at least you don't feel like driving on a hard brick (ford, dodge , chevy ). thats why american trucks are cheaper then the foreign ones.

having a tundra or titian trucks is like driving a nice suv except you also have good amount of space in the bed. i rather have a new tundra or titan instead of a car.

@atgskater14 Hey its all good. I just bought the a 2010 Silverado 1500. It has the 5.3 ltr with the 3.42 axle ratio. so 9600lbs towing capacity. Its not a hybrid but like all the new ones its a flex fuel. I love it. best vehicle I have ever sat in. there is only one thing i really like the titan for. thats the lift handle on the drivers side. i have a bad leg and it helps getting in. the Chevy dosn't. oh well i will still take chevy over everything else. BOWTIE BUDDY!!!

I've only driven then Tundra , F-150, Silverado and Ram, but I honestly couldn't find anything that made the Titan better or worse of a truck. yet, i do like the Chevy setup interior wise over Nissan. @petorian1 lmao of course it wins those are the hd models there heavy duty and that 6.2 litter v8 is optional and if you decide to get that engine you might as well just get the 2500 hd but the regular silverado has 300 hp and produces 300 Lb torque and the regular titan has 317 hp and produces 385 Lb torque

Efficiency doesn't mean best. For the engine size and displacement, this engine is one of the most efficient and reliable trucks out there. While your re-servicing your entire engine and replacing axle's at 90,000 I'll be getting simple oil changes for $20

The short bed version may make it easier to park versus the long bed shown in this video. I can't believe Nissan is getting rid of this nice looking truck and having Dodge take over its production. Basically, having a company in the verge of bankruptcy take over.
