i have a small connection with someone who knows Sufjan and has worked with him personally and he hasn't set any dates for a new album. no time soon. HOWEVER...HE IS recording...so it wont be TOO long. hopefully. its very unfortunate...but thats what I know.

and i'm excited to hear him focus more on piano and other instruments.

i mean, i love the banjo and guitar, so the fact that he changing it up in terms of instruments is magnificent.

I agree with TheRumpledAcademic.. this album of Sufjan's is going to be my favorite album i'm sure for a long long time.. I think it will top Illinois and I think it will be similar to Seven Swans (in length).
