@idrawgirls i understand about knowing light and shadow...but you seem to "color behind the lines" sort of speak. That you can see your sketch through the coloring...just curious how u do that
Just out of curiosity, how many layers do you tend to use? It seems to me you're keeping them to a minimum; something like a background, sketch layer and main painting. Would that be about right?
I've seen almost all your videos and I was wondering can you please tell me how you are doing this? I see that you lay down your base with light and shadow but how are you getting the color inbetween the shadow and light?
ok BIG QUESTION!!!!! so after u do the sketch of him, and then you color him in darker. How do you format it to where you color behind your sketch?
kagomeadc 2 months ago
@kagomeadc Format doesn't matter, you have to know light and shadow.

@kagomeadc No, I am very sure I color over the line using separate normal layer. You don't see any line in the end, do you? ;-)

The drawing is excellent, especially the colour shading. Way to go on that, however.
Slow down, and think what are saying. This barley felt like a tutorial, more a show of your ability...

after he lays down the grey tones he probably uses another layer that's on either overlay or multiply mode in photoshop.
