I don't understand why people compare the DS and the PSP so much. They are both GREAT, have great games, have great gameplay, and have equal value to me. PSP has some really good games when you look at all of them. MGS, COD, Star Ocean, Crush, GTA, and more. DS has great games too like Zelda, Dementium, ACWW, and others. This is a battle that can't be one and shouldn't have even been started in the first place. If you buy either, you will be happy.

Most developers makin games for the ds dont use the second screen properly; what Ive seen so far is it just shows a menu, and sometimes equiping stuff.

This can be easily resolved, Ds sells over 4x the amount of Psp's sold. And when you buy a portable gaming system what do you buy it for? Portable gaming. Psp is a system for the new age "gamers" which are simply amazed at shiny things with pretty pictures.

Ur an idiot. Blu-ray is used in games 2, so it offers best sound and picture quality. Psp is for gamers, and movies and music r'nt to lure u in. There a nice feature. Oh, and heres the ds described in one word: TACCY! All it is is just a gameboy advance, with 2 screens. Most developers makin games for the ds dont use the second screen properly; what Ive seen so far is it just shows a menu, and sometimes equiping stuff.

your joking right almost every big psp game already came out for te ps2. Im also sorry if the only games you think are made for adults are shooters and beat em ups with a lot of gore and language. Ds is an overall better handheld because of more battery life and shell design. psp is an overall better system with the graphics and all. But I and a lot of other people would bring the ds on a car trip because its a very nice handheld. As for at home I have my 360 and ps3.

I have both actually:). had to get psp for bbs. But im not saying ones better than the other, im saying that ds is better for long car trips and for just chilllin with friends. psp for a hardcore gaming expirience with everything you could want but at the cost of a 1 and a half to 2 hour shorter battery life. Yes I did check.

DUDE! You got it all wrong! PSPs can now be bought on amazon for about £90 and DSs are still about £100.
The psp can get downloaded features such as MSN, Radio, Itunes, PS1 games, GBA games, old pc games, camera and loads of other stuff. The psp memory sticks for a 4 gb costs only about £15. The psp has an analog stick, once u switch the psp off during a game you can continue it when you switch back on. Grafics is spelt GRAPHICS!!! >:@

well, the nintendo ds uses the touchscreen for gameplay, but it also has analog buttons like the psp so it's 2 vs 1- analog & touchscreen vs analog- and it could also be said 3 vs 1 - analog, touchscreen & voice vs analog- n' not only that, in the ds u have other gameplay features, like blowing, using the ds shape etc

i think ds is all around better, it has everything that the psp has and more, including microphone(which is great 4 chatting on wifi) and the touchscreen which is great for first person shooters =] and typing....psp has slow ass "text entry" which takes 4ever to type with, the psp only wins by graphics which arent majorly better, and psp has lots more better games...ds games r always kiddy or lazily made :( only a few good games like metroid prime hunters

cuz on the psp, becuz it only has joystick, u either have auto aim? or u have to use square, circle, triange, and x to aim...but ds has the touchscreen which is really good for aiming, u have much more freedom, and ur crosshair isnt locked in teh center of teh screen like a robot
