i own an 82 mercury capri rs and i would like to know how rare they are to give an accurate price on it it has a rebuilt 302 with a 4 speed aod tranny and no rust its black with red leather interior and the mustang pony rims does not have the the bubble hatch anymore has a mustang lx hatch give me a response
very nice capri by the way. mine has original paint, black with grey bottom, i have the grey interior though, 38,000 original miles. im starting to notice a little spec of rust just above the tail light. do you have any problems with rust?
i will have to put up a video of my 85. And to deksam101, the bubble hatch is what makes the car! if it had a mustang hatch then it would look just like a mustang.

I was surprised to hear a chime when you started it up without your seatbelt on. I thought the 1986 Mercury Capri only used the same annoying buzzer that the Mustang used in 1986.

It does! I have an '86 Capri 5.0L and there is no pleasant chime like that - just a buzz... good catch on that one.
Owner - did you modify the chime or is it stock?
