One issue I have with this is that it's too dense and lugubrious. It should be lighter, with more space between the notes. Toccata means to touch, not to hold.
I do ultimately think the tempo should be faster than this however. The choice of disposition, however, is absolutely perfect. There are other choices that would also work perfectly, but this does the trick.
Perfect choice of disposition. Interesting slower interpretation that somehow works. Damn hard to pull this slower tempo off though, and many people would find it boring, but I think it works.

Wonderful! Bach sounds good on this "Cavaille-Col facsimile" for sure. That is the universality of Bach! Even on youtube it sounds terrific!
