How are the controls simple? There's a dedicated button for launch sure, but it makes sense since launching is such a big part of the game - why have different inputs for each character?
Input in fighting games has never been an issue. It is all about the timing. Anyone can ride a bike, but can anyone be the world biking champion? Poor analogy lol.
As much as I love MVC, personally I prefer BlazBlue.

@jediaraujo level 3 combos with one character cannot be performed with simple controls. stuff like that is built in as a countermeasure to the things you mentioned. keeps gameplay balanced with an incentive to keep players from abusing simple mode controls
i used to hate this game when i first bought it because i didnt know what i was doing. After i got the hang of it, its a really fun game to play. Especially if you are playing against a friend. lol
For those who haven't figure it out yet this game is straight up Bullshit. MVC2 is still better then this shit. Maybe not graphic wise, but playable wise. Chung-li, Zero, Dante, Felicia,V.Joe,Thor, and a couple more can Block or do a direct combo the very instant they get their Anti Air attack Blocked. This is F*&^ up, while Ryu, Akuma, Captain america, Morrigan, Hulk,and More Are vulnerable whether hit or miss. And what's up with the roster?Should be more the MVC2's.Thx God I didn't buy this.

not trolling this is an honest opinion. Street Fighter/MVC suck. ive pllayed them. the best fighters are Mortal Kombat (excluding DC). and Soul Calibur is fun to but needs blood and gore your slicing with swords i mean really. but street fighter and mvc are just horrible horrible.
I know it's silly and yes it's a fighting game but... Hulk should be immune to basically everyone Especially Chris because all he has is weapons and not very good ones at that. Air combo mechanics are not messed up imo and you can't perform a Hyper Combo with one button... thats only if you play simple mode. yea this game has WAAY too many noob combos. so easy to get combos in, more than TvC imo.. sigh, why couldnt they just make an Mvc2 with more characters, and rebalanced the old ones..
