Henley is a musical genius, but he and the rest of the Eagles led the charge for turning concert tours into big money grabs, locking out younger generations who simply could not afford even the cheapest of their tickets. They were the watershed band in this respect. Add to that the fact that Henley looks like some nasty punk on the playground with an eternal chip on his shoulder, and the aesthetic failure is complete. Nice tune though. I suppose personalities should not matter, but they do.
