  • fucking hell

  • This is the one dance in the world that I CANNOT do at all. I'm so sad. This is a great video.

  • He's an good performer I guess. I'm Turkish and I lived in a neighbourhood in Izmir with lots of gypsy neighbours for a few years and I'm sorry Ozgen but those kids dance better than this. Much much better. It was amazing to see how naturally they could suddenly move with the rythm while casually walking down the street. And their movements were not this soft. It was with great precision. So yeah, I prefer the street version.

  • @barisms Post up some video I'd love to see this! It's so hard to find good videos of real dancers even though there are whole countries full of them, and I guess nobody's shooting video there because it's just normal where they are.

  • This is REAL DANCE!

  • Its not hard dance just need practice. Go to Turkish if you like the culture. Instead of United States, Turkey really has all the cultures around and in the country. Its the centre point in Europe for next hundred years. ISTANBUL is the capital of Europe. Visit it once

  • First gypsy entertainment ever seen. Needing talent is OK.

  • Omg this is so damned hot. I love the way this man expresses himself in dance. I am Romany Gypsy myself and have always been drawn toward the other side of the world.( I live in the states actually now ) I have wanted to learn how to dance this way my whole life!

    watch?v=b0Rb7PfKq1M&feature=related

    Interpret: Kardes Türküler

    Title: Keriz edelim

  • Müzigin ismi ne?

  • Anyway, back to Ozgen... I saw him perform this dance last night in Salisbury in the south of England and it was a complete privilege. He's also a really nice person, and boogied with us student bellydancers for hours after his performance!

  • hi, how did you you find about the event? Do you know something being organized in London? I would love to join...

  • It was organised by Wessex Arabic Dance Association, of which I am a founder committee member. We invited Ozgen to do some workshops for us, and then perform in the evening at our Grand Hafla. He was a complete triumph, and a lovely person too.

  • A great dancer.

  • oooh! soo sexy!! So, his name is Ozgen. Such a dancer! good!!

  • Can someone tell me the artist and title of the song?

  • What a perfect and sexy choreography. Ozgen is an incredible dancer. :-)

  • lol, why did people rate my comment down?? is it because I said the word sexy? im not being a perv, im just telling the truth.

  • @HelenBlondelTV :) I totally agree with you Helen :)! He is amazing dancer! I've seen his live and he's breath taking!

  • Turks are mixed with every country they occupied ,..thats a fact...sorry if the truth hurts..

  • The language of the Roma is Romani.Watch the Youtube Video Historia Romani its a scientific video

  • ..From Greece the romanies seperated and reached every european country.

European romani groups are the Sinti in Germany the Manush in France the Gitanos in Espania the Calderasha in romania...but their worldwide name is Romani male: Rom female: Romni.....oriental romani groups are the Domari in Israel or Iran Irak ...The Khurbati are also a Romani group in the orient...

There are still groups of the roma which stayed in India like the Banjaras...

  • Do your ears hear what shit your mouth is talking?

You really want to tell me, that ALL "real" turks are members of the bozkurt organisation? Are u insane?

  • Romani is another human as a roman but many people dont know that Roman are people from Romania and are latins like italian spanish people and Romani come from India Rajasthan but they started their journey thousand years ago and seperated from another

They travelled through persia turkey the roman empire and reached greece a few hundred years ago.The greece thought they were egyptians thats why they called them gipsy

  • wtf r u talking there? u wanna say that thee romas are form romania? and since where are they latins? The name hey have "Romani" doesn't have anything to do with the roman empire. They come in deed from India but they don't have a country. What unites then to a "civilization" is their culture and newly the language.

  • These turks who tell they are hundred percent turkish mostly are bozkurts...bozkurts are the same like nazis in germany...if you tell them that today the turkish people are mixed they would get angry..similiar to the german nazi people who tell everybody they are aryan

  • I'm german but a few generations ago my ancestors were gipsy from hungary or romania

  • u do realise ur talking shit ye?

  • I think too many turks are romani descendants too but turks dont like to think about this..Many turks look like gipsy..if they were hundred percent turkish they would look like mongols..özbeks kazars turkmen and in russia the tatar are 100 % turkish but the turkey turks have been mixed with arabs gipsys kaukasian slawic and so on

  • for your understanding gipsy and romani are total diferit,i am a roman and trkey are not from romania soo don't say something about a country if you don't now what is it in that country

  • What Boogey is trying to say is that there is a difference between:

-the Roma people (gypsies; they come from India, they traveled the world for thousands of years and they don't have a country of their own)

    AND

-the Romanians (inhabitants of Romania, Latin country like Italy, Spain, Portugal etc.; actually Romania is the only Latin country in Eastern Europe, with the only Latin language in the area).

  • su videonunbasligina adam akilli birsey yaz

  • I saw Ozgen last year at a Hafla in England. He did this exact same dance. Very, very good and a really lovely person. He is coming back in October to do a bellydance workshop.....can't wait!

  • all turkish people have GYPSY DNA

  • whats your iq score?

  • where im from in turkey gypsies are treated like shit

  • They are in the UK too, we have been here 500 years and we are still treated like pariahs. Mind you, if one of our boys started dancing like this it would not be encouraged, our men are not like this.

  • That shoe in the end is very sex..... y hehe :-P

  • gercekten harika dans ediyosun

  • Perfect dance!!! 6 stars!!

  • Does this guy ever teach in the states? He is amazing!

  • türkiyede türk olmak suç zaten hadi gidelim

  • I know what gipsy means and what gypsy is.

What I am talking about your remark as "we" don' consider bla bla.

Anyone who carries a Turkish ID is Turkish by law.

"Consider" is totally different than being.

But I am sure you are a pure Turk as you cannot express yourself without insulting the counterpart ;).

    Haydi selametle.

  • You as who?

Anyone who has Turkish nationality is Turkish regardless ethnic origin, religion and such.

  • Well he's Turkish, he grew up in the culture and Country. He only lives in the UK now to work as a dancer.

  • i dance with him - well i used to last year anyway, he also does ballroom, he always smelt so good!

    Aida

  • What an amazing dancer!!! Fantastic!!!

What is the name of the music? Thanks

  • The name of this music is: "ic ic kudur" from the female singer "Kibariye"

  • oh my god i love this song.. but the information you gave about it are wrong.. do you them exactly?

  • Ozgen is such a charasmatic dancer, and a wonderful teacher, I can not wait until my next workshop! x

  • Great dancing Ozgen! I really enjoyed it :-) You are an amazing dancer.

  • Ghawazi are not Gypsy as in a Rromani people. The only way they are Gypsy is through the original meaning of the word Egyptian. Rroms were mistakenly refered to a "Gypsy" due to Europeans mistaking them as being Egyptian. Just because Ghawazi are nomadic this does not automatically make them related.

  • I am aware of the "Gypsy"-"Egyptian" misunderstanding, but this doesn't mean that there are no people with a Rrom background in the Middle East. I can't help wondering though, why do some people have no problems with East European and Spanish and French Gypsies but resist that notion of Middle Eastern connections. A racist issue perhaps?

  • No. it is a problem with non-Romani people trying to recreate our identity based on incorrect lies. Ghorbatti (Dombii) as in the nomadic people of the Middle East & Iran speak a language from a different Indian region and time of origin. If the two were together whilst back in India they would surely speak the same Indian root language.

  • well...nice job...here you go REAL gipsies from REAL life

  • Ozgen and I danced at the International Belly Dance Conference in Toronto, Canada last night. I got to meet Ozgen and I say he is a very nice person and an amazing dancer. If you ever get a chance, go see Ozgen.

  • He's an amazing dancer!!!

  • Bu calan 'roman havasi' kimin?

  • I was under the understanding that the Rom were displaced from North India by the Muslims back around the 10th century, and that they wandered into Byzantium and Turkey, and then moved on from there?

  • Romani people migrated to all over the European Continent. Even if you had been correct, insulting others is just rude.

  • I've never seen such a flamboyant Rom before, hah. Maybe this is just more common among the Turkish Roma than the Balkan or Russian Roma?

  • I think he's so flamboyant cus well he's gay, no offense. he's also a bellydancer and how often you find a straight male bellydancer.

  • Hah, true. But hey, who knows.

  • How often do you find a true Rromano / Rromani belly dancer?? It all looks a bit middle eastern to me. How non-Romani (Gahjeh) people try to tie this is with Romani heritage amazes me... Why do you do it ????!!!

  • Try looking up info on "Roman Havasi" and the dancers of Istanbul's centuries-old Rrom "Sulukule" district. It might make a few things clear to you...While you're at it try looking up Egyptian Ghawazi dancers. There's Middle Eastern "Gypsy" dance for you. The Romani got around, you know

  • I suppose the shoe in the pants is to show his skills in the bedroom? Sexy confident dance if I ever did see one

  • Gadjo dilo, indeed! I like the trick with the shoe ;-)

  • Yep, I saw that right, he puts his shoe in his pants and does a deep knee bend in tight pants at the end. Hmmmm...very original but OUCH!!!

  • Na san romani kelapén... Na morchan, na morchin, chucar jungalé!!!!!!!! Me na raklo... Gadjo dilo...

  • Okay, this is hawt.

  • aaaah PLEASE tell me the names and artists of the music used for this, I love it so much!!!!
