just out of curiosity because i was researching this today.

how do we know the earth is spinning and rotating around the sun?

why is the idea of a geocentric earth incorrect?

i cant find any video footage of the earth spinning despite all our supposed space exploration.

An interesting and odd question. I studied celestial navigation. I assure you that we know general theory, yet in 500 characters, explain it??? A day is approx 24 hours created by the earth spinning 1RPD. (Rev per day).  The sun is "relatively" speaking in the same spot in the universe. With the distance to the sun if IT moved fast enough to create the phenomena of a day (light and dark) it would instantly disintegrate. There are other indicators, but these should be simple to understand.

I advocate questioning almost everything, but remain grounded. The earth spinning has been observed numerous ways from space. The apparently movement of other bodies allows us to study/realize movement like electrons in an atom. The earth cannot be at the center or the planets far away would vaporize at the apparent speed they would have to sustain. The earth is like a wobbling top. The poles wobble causing everything from the seasons (hence rotation and revoloving) and global temp shifts.
