I was at their 3rd show (last night) and they rocked the house! It so cool to see a band that plays so tight together and still have fun too! The best concert I've been to in a very long time!
sounds like every other band Sammy's been in. Montrose, solo, HSAS, Van Halen, solo, Chickenfoot. Look at the dude flashing the Van Halen sign around 3:15 or so. Betcha that pissed Sammy off. :-)
He still looked like a douche bag at the show and I heard plenty of people comment on it. If you watch the Video Sammy runs away from him to the other side of the stage to get away from him.
That isn't the Van Halen sign that is the VAN HAGAR sign so I'm sure he is really enjoying it! He started it during the OU812 test tour, right before the album and the real tour ame out.
they used it on "Live Without A Net" which was the 5150 tour. It's in the videos. Check it out. Your right though, it's more of a Van Hagar symbol more than a Van Halen one.
Wow, Mike and sammy look old. Looks at Mike's fingers, they don't match the notes being played. I bet they have a bassist backstage. Sammy's singing sounds piped in. His lips don't match the words.
Chickenfoot just flat out ROCKS!! Love this song.
