I have been breeding chihuahuas for 22 years now but just recently switched to Rat terriers. I only have one Rattie right now as a companion and an Obedience dog. I can't believe how easily the rat terrier mother whelps her litter compared to the chihuahuas. Thank you for posting this heartwarming expirience. It sure does bring back good memories for me. The Rat terrier mamas are the most inteligent one's.. i got one and she was very sweet when she bring 6 puppys..
