When I try to install the media services .msu file I am prompted with an error message saying "The update is not applicable to your computer.".
How do I install this role to my server as there appears to be no other way? My server is running Windows Media Services 2008 R2 and I have tried to install the according msu file.

@Gegs4 I had the same issue.you need to make sure you're downloading Windows6.1-KB963697-x64. Google comes up with some other garbage first.
