I have the PS2 version, and it sports this same graphic style.
But honestly, being the Ghostbusters fan that I am, the graphics aren't all that bad in my opinion. The story and all of the original dialogue is still there. And while it did pain me to see how kid-oriented they made this commercial, and how excellent the graphics of the PS3 and 360 versions were, it was still an all-around awesome Ghostbusting experience, even on a PS2.
It could've been worse, and that only happened with afew characters, like Peck at one part. And when the mouths WERE moving, which was rather often, the sync of the voices was pretty spot-on.
I'm so glad that the game didn't really look like this. I much preferred the realistic look.

You should be able to create the look of "rookie". What if people dont wanna be 'generic white guy'. The game is pretty good though.
