  • thanks for all your comments GOOD or BAD ..... but why did 6 people vote it down ? ... i wonder if they have the pilots skill ?

  • Chinook can to land on water

  • I think you will find that it can. It was developed with a water resistant hull for Special Operations work with sealed tanks either side of its hull - it can stay afloat for a short time in calm seas. I believe there is an optional kit that will increase this to extended water use. Do your research before posting!

  • Having worked corrosion control, I hope that the AIRCREW had to help the ground crew scrub that Chinook's underside....

  • Well he certainly can't be spotted on the radar :D

  • What a pilot!

  • i think you will find he was hovering, the chinook cannot land on water

  • @Yoza198 Hey McFly, hoverbirds don't work on water! Unless you got power! Ha-haaa!

  • @Yoza198 actually it can for a short time.

  • @Yoza198 No shit sherlock?

  • @workshop77777 It mostly carries troops around. It's a transport helo

  • "We are 'feet in the water'."

  • mal ne unterboden Wäsche der anderen Art

  • 6 people from sahara desert africa...

  • the crew of the chinnock just wanted to pee..............

  • it does this to allow rapid egress or boarding of soldiers in boats or divers

  • I didnt no a chinook could do this, I thought it was only a Seaking/sr61 sorta thing, is this copter designed to this????????

  • Great skills

  • Thats how navy seal get picked up on some missions watch the other videos

  • Skills, yo.

  • thats the way u get a chinook wash...

  • @epk1942 Since when?

  • Package on board were out.

  • Зачем он это сделал?

  • a flying sumbarin?

  • This is how chuck norris washes his helicopter!

  • it wanted to to be a sumbarine not a copter

  • there is no better sound than a ch47 Chinook ,,and no better feeling than to be riding in one at low level..memories flooding back..[former Wessex soldier]..[acoy]..

  • If he did this by accident, he used some pretty ninja skill to save the chopper.

If he did it on purpose, he used some even more awesome skill to pull it off.

Either way, he makes Airwolf look like my attempts to control my mate's r/c chopper in the living room!

  • may be, they collect water

  • Great Airmanship!

  • launching special ops, blabla

someone puked inside! how would you clean it?

  • phai cong nhan la thang phi cong nay lai rat gioi ...

  • The heliboater pilot shouldve retracted the gear while under water and then come up claiming Davy Jones stole his wheels.

  • the helicopter steped in poo so he was just cleaning it off :)

  • The crew was thirsty and hadn't bathed for days...so they picked up a few gallons of pure sea water...through excellent airmanship :)

  • Chinook. One C, One N.

  • God damnit! I was there! )Barcelona Airshow 2004)

  • One reason I watch these vids is the sound the choppers make, it's pumping like hell, woohoo.

  • That technique is used to launch and recover special ops.

  • Chelihopfer name totally misspelled.

  • ejercito español chavales y punto

  • no es el ejercito de japon idiotas es el ejercito español ignorantes

  • Great footage mate.Well done.

  • Yep, we're still going fishing Saturday, I just bought a new boat. I plan on about 8 different lakes depending on our luck.

8 different lakes in one day? Special kind of boat? How are we going to find time to fish?

    You'll see...

  • this is how they wipe their asses

  • That's how a chinnock cleans its ass after dropping a load.

  • It's Chinook not Chinnock!

  • @torquesport well spotted thanks :)

  • nice boat

  • Commander: "Captain!"

    Capt: "Yes sir?"

Commander: "The last pilot got the chinook dirty in the rear. Get some guys to clean it."

    Capt: "Yes Sir!"

    .....

Capt: "Yo fellas! We going to the beach!"

  • the ch47 is designed to float in water, they have pontoons in the area where the landing gear is, it allows it to take one water so they can perform the delta queen maneuver which is for extraction of special forces via inflatable boat

  • Chinook. Not Chinnock. or Chincock.

  • damn gafittie this will wash it off

  • im glad to see he moved away form the people sat on the beach. Im always concenred about the risk to people on the ground if a helicopter was to have mechanical problems. Thats why i am not keen when they hover over peoples houses

  • CITY BARCELONA

  • Well... Now it's going to rust since that's salt water.

  • IMPRESIONANTE

  • woop - dee - doo!

  • Most people dont know this but the CH-47 floats. Its designed to float with the engines off and the rear ramp open. All of the helicopters systems are mounted up high in the fuselage... about the same level as the engines.

  • I don't believe the Chinook is designed to float

  • Shows just what would be an everyday event if monkeys were taught to fly. This guy (or girl), obviously has no grasp of basic physics and how much a cubic foot of water weighs. He could have little idea of just how much weight he was taking onboard every second he sat in the water. Being so close to the people any breakup would have ensure the blades created carnage on shore too.. Well done the bozoo pilot - go read the pilots notes on CG limits. See what a few cm of water weigh sloshing around

  • Great flying

  • muhahaa

  • WOW

  • @ 1:05 the blades are like 'HAII-YA HAII-YA HAII-YA YAYAYAYAYAYA'

  • @augdog1230 what!?!?!

  • He not land ;-)

He just "touch ´n go" :)

  • looks fucking awesome

  • litlle boat

  • How is this skill? They are made for boat extractions and floating...

  • I'm watching that salty water vapor go into the engines. That has to increase maintenance costs...?

  • Ahaha WTF it's probley the talaban learning to fly a chinook ( dumb fuck )

  • Thats amazing

  • Underbodywash for Helicopter?

  • Check out the SEAL team video that shows them going up the ramp of the partially submerged Chinook in their combat rubber raiding craft.

  • pilot was washing mud off the tires

  • His butt is on fire, that's why he needs to cool it off.

  • why the landing gear out? helps floating??? :D

  • @skazhiprivet The CH-47 Chinook can't hide the Gear :) like the AH-64 Apache and MH-60 blackhawk :)

  • @skazhiprivet chinook has fixed gear u dumb

  • @skazhiprivet Most hellicopters cant contract gears.

  • @The6Spartans Retract son, retract the gear.

  • @The6Spartans retract

  • @skazhiprivet lol funny shit in here, 1 big question is, was it salt water.

  • @skazhiprivet didn't realise the gear went up :L

  • @skazhiprivet CH47s have ficed landing gear, 99% of military helios do

  • @skazhiprivet chinooks dont have retracts

  • @skazhiprivet their not retractable

  • @skazhiprivet Chinooks have fixed landing gear. They don't retract.

  • @skazhiprivet The landing gear is always out

  • @skazhiprivet Chinooks can't retract their landing gear....not this model

  • @skazhiprivet its a fixed landing gear look it up.

  • @skazhiprivet CH-47's do not have retractable landing gear, thats why.

  • @skazhiprivet Procedure when flying under a certain altitude

  • @skazhiprivet dumbass chinooks landing gear dnt retract

  • @skazhiprivet The landing gear are not retractable..

  • @skazhiprivet they don't retract

  • So why did he do that? Was it an air show? Or a random event? Was it training? What do you think?

  • @markjcairns thanks for your input. Description updated. :)

  • @markjcairns It's a manuveur for special ops. They will lower the rear ram and drive the zodiac inflateable boats right into the helo.
