@VinylFun Funny record. Many thanks for th upload.
The harpsichordist is Antony Hopkins, the well-loved musician, teacher and broadcaster (b.1921), who used to be known for his radio music analyses "Talking about Music", some of which were turned into books or LPs. He also contributed to the comic Hoffnung concerts of the late 50s.
Mprat13 is correct in that Sir Anthony Hopkins, the actor, is also an accomplished pianist... however, since he was only 15 years old in 1953 (when this record seems to have come out), it's probably not him here.
It's a nice thought, to have two such accomplished artists together on the same disc... but sadly I don't think it's the case :(
Actually, Anthony Hopkins, the actor, is an accomplished pianist. He has composed many scores for various feature films, including several heard in Hannibal. Whether this is the actor playing on the recording, I can't answer.
This record was produced by George Martin, who would bring us the Beatles ten years later, Can you believe that? LOL :) JC

Peter Ustinov was amazingly talented. I never knew he could do a mezzosoprano so well. I think this has mixed and he's doing all the voices.
What ever the case; good on Peter!

Ustinov at his best. How he must have enjoyed doing this. Mozart would have laughed his cose fan tuttes off.

Sir George Martin produced this record and confirmed in an interview that it wasn't the actor Anthony Hopkins.

I love Peter Ustinov! He was awesome, and Anthony Hopkins too. Honestly no one can beat us Brits for the talent we have given the world!

Isn't it the musician and writer Anthony Hopkins, rather than the actor?
