Indians have been ripping off Hollywood from way back. Even the so called biggest star of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan owes his funny scene from Namak Halal to Peter Sellers movie The Party!

It's not the Indians, but the Islamic influence India that has no creativeness. The same Indians migrate overseas and become famous for their creativity. The sooner India realizes that it's Sanskrit culture has more in common with the West than those middle east nations the better.

Also yes on Islam doesn't permit making songs/movies that's why Islamic influenced India has brainwashed her creativeness clean. Go to the temple you'll see 'bhakts' wearing salwar kameez. Go to the courts you'll see professionals using Urdu words. Go to Bollywood and you'll see fucking Khans as main characters!

@samsam29 They didnt ripped it off. They were INFLUENCED by Hong Kong Cinemas/ Animes. Influence and Plagiarism is two different things. Matrix was inspired by Ghost in the Shell anime but this movie ripped off the whole scene minute by minute from the matrix.

It's partly to blame because a majority of Americans are just complete morons and Hollywood knows this, so they release a slew of shit movies filled with explosion, slow-motion effects, who needs a good story when you can just provide two hours of flashy effects, right?

Unless my knowledge on the event that brought America into WWII is wrong (I know it's not). I'm almost positive no one who worked on that movie had seen the movie you are talking about. There are may movie with similar stories because most stories have already been used up.
