cmd and command are the same thing man. just a different target file location. There is no difference between cmd and command. its like running explorer or opening your my computer. same shit different method...

wrong syntax Drive name THEN colon ex: " c: " or " e: "

@RKB344 Correct me if im wrong, but isnt Dos or CMD used for hacking and stuff? If it is im sure thing like changing passwords and moving folders are simple basics that will be needed when it comes to the more advance stuff.

@fatmanlee7 What i know it's just used for executing commands. So yes it can be used for illegal stuff too :P, take the backtrack linux distro for example. Very powerfull terminal, you can crack wpa and wep keys with it etc.

CMD is basically short for command. For Vista and 7, other than the different names on top of the window, they are completely the same.

Just a small tip regarding the 'show only folders' bit in this video. Instead of using 'DIR *.', you should be using 'DIR /ad'.
