  • Starting with $100 bankroll what stakes should I play?

  • @TheLastFraudster 1c/2c.

  • @TheLastFraudster $0.25/0.75

  • @TheLastFraudster

well i agree that 1c/2c is the right stake for you to play in a CASH game...

But if you want to improve your bankroll i would suggest Sit N Go tournaments

  • anyone notice the faces in the background?

  • lol that is such bs

unless he was multi-tabling on like 10 tables

but its so hard to many money at that limit cause people suckout too much

and i wouldnt even multi table that many at limit, i would play higher stakes and multi table less tables

the guy is bsing, you cant make that much money at that limit because the competition is stupid

ive always found that the hardest players to beat are the best and worst players, and the average players are easiest to beat

  • @tipsy09

This right here is the talk of a microstakes noob that watches poker on tv and criticizes pro's plays and sits in 2+2 acting like a pimp.

  • No amount of BR management will help if your a bad player who cant fold crappy cards but it can slow the leaks down

ive got a handful of rules i try to fallow

    1. One buyin One reload on a bad beat

    2. Double up and leave..tomany stay to long and lose it all back

    3. win your winning stay till your butt hurts(Phil Gorden rule)

4.stop loss if im way past doubling up

i leave if i lose 50% of the amount past my double up

    So if i put $500 on a table and i hit $1200 i leave at $1100 ..simple

  • patience is the key to winning in nl cash games. here are my rules: NEVER PLAY ONLINE GET UR SELF TO A REAL POKER CLUB PLAY TIGHT AND ALWAYS EXPECT THE WORST ONLY BRING THE AMOUNT U DON'T MIND LOSING TO THAT SESSION ALWAYS PLAY YOUR BEST BECAUSE EVEN THEN IT'S STILL HARD TO WIN LOOK FOR TABLES WITH WEAK PLAYERS CHANGE SEATS/TABLES IF UR ON A BAD LOSING STREAK PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR OPPONENTS BETTING PATTERNS NO I REPEAT NO ALCOHOL WHATSOEVER QUIT IF THE GAME GETS BORING
  • @ACIDOCEAN1 Lol you are such a moron..

  • @MrJonnyboy36 i'd rather be a moron than a broke idiot

  • he skipped the most imporant bit. how to actually start WINNING.

oh yeah all you do is work out how much you want and how much you make per hour and BANG stick to it and you'll get your returns you want every month.

well ive been stuck at £0.10/£0.25 blinds for yonks losing 1BB/100 hands and paying even more rake!

  • @DisturbedV7

well he can't cover everything in 2 minutes, can he? he talked here about bankroll. go read or watch some poker strategy videos to get to the part were he explains how to actually play the game and win at it.

  • @skaloon

ya but he said BUILD bankroll

  • @DisturbedV7

again his implying that you know how to play and you have decent hourly income rate. even if you are a good poker player - if you don't manage your bankroll - you might loose everything

  • Don't chase ur losses... Even phil hellmuth still does that it's defonatly The hardest thing in poker to master

  • well, maye they paid him a considerable sum but anyway, what he is saying is completely right

  • Cash games is so easy people get that through your head!!! I play .05 .10 and make on average $10 an hour. I play about 3hour sessions sometimes 4hours, that's $40 at minimum in a session and I may play up to 2-3 sessions a day. So I make on average 80$ a day if I do 2sessions, which is mostly what I do. $120 for 3sessions. Anyway thats $560 a week playing .05 .10 NLH So its not about playing the highest limit b/c competition is harder as you move up, but just play your game&you will make profit

  • @mattownsu1 .05/.1 at ten bucks an hour? Don't believe that for a second. Insanely unrealistic. I bet you had a few big sessions about a month ago when you made this comment and your online roll is busto by now lol. You would have to basically stack somebody every hour and never lose...easy game.

  • @mattownsu1 Wow matt that is kinda unrealistic. I really doubt you have anything clost to that kind of outcome

  • @mattownsu1 Sorry, but there is absolutely no chance in hell you're making that kind of money playing that low. Not a chance. No...way!

  • @mattownsu1

So I take it you have no down swings and variance doesnt affect you?

  • oh jesus, and you're only playing live? he's not saying go and waste your money. play it smart, i play online, i put in $50, now I'm at $81. It's not much, but I'm not looking to go pro, I'm a recreational player only looking to have some fun. online poker is just fine if u know how to actually play poker.

  • Ye hes right hitting and running sucks and its a bitch to the people u do it to

  • @ShadowShifting i dnt think the point he's trying to make was "hitting and running is a bitch to the ppl u do it to" in poker u shouldnt care about ur opponents feelings. i remember once i stayed for an hour n a half at a table n made 300$ then left cuz i had stuff to do. every1 at the table was like "oh cmon where u goin?" like i owed em an explanation or something. daniel's point is that u shouldnt hit n run cuz u could make even more money if u stay a little longer n i agree wit that 100%

  • He is right. You shouldnt hit and run and you shouldnt tilt and lose your remaining money either.

  • Genius

  • You're not going to sweet-talk me, charmer boy...

  • gee, i wonder how much the online sites payed him to say that.

  • @issareign Why would ther "online" sites have to pay him to say that? He is promoting pokervt which is a training site geared towards a lot of online poker. That is reason enough..

  • @issareign

they didn't payed him nothing. guys who know how to play always win in a long run online. that's a fact

  • @skaloon yea, because gambling has always been a viable way to make money..... not.

  • @issareign

poker is not really gambling. roulette is gambling - poekr is not. it's all about skill level. yeah sometimes luck changes stuff, but in a long run a better player gonna always win. i make 2-3k usd every month np np. and i'm not even good. but lowstakes tables online are very soft.

  • @skaloon LOL george orwell comes to mind when reading your comment.

    "poker is not really gambling"

    LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • @issareign

well if you don't know what the hell are you talking about - then shut up. poker is a SKILL game, not luck. i make money playing poker constantly - i'm either very lucky (considering i play thousands of hands every week that's very unlikely) or i know what the fuck i'm doing (therefor poker is a skill game). please go try to make money playing roulette constantly. if you manage to win 5k USD every month playing roulette - then i will agree that poker is luck based game.

  • @skaloon poker involved far less luck than roulette. there, happy?

  • @issareign

well you need to understand that luck factor can be easily controled in poker with bankroll management. you put on the table not more than 1/50 of your all money. no matter how bad of a run you gonna have you never gonna go broke. and if you are a good player - you gonna make substantial profit in a long run. if you take one hand of poker - yeah there can be a lot of luck involved. you take a million hands - just skill is left. this is a fact. i know it form my experience

  • @skaloon Do you play online or Live? If you play live were do you play? And if you play online whats your user name? I won't to play with you.

  • @MrJonnyboy36

what would you get from playing with me? you can easily win 1 session againts me, cause of the luck factor. and i'm not gonna play a lot of sessions with you. i don't have the time. i'm far better of following people that i know are fishes, as i always do. i don't know if you are a fish or not

  • @skaloon LOL.... I asked what is your USER NAME...

  • @MrJonnyboy36

i typed "i wanna play with you"

  • @skaloon USER NAME?? USER NAME?...

  • @MrJonnyboy36 don't you know it It's Kid poker

  • @MrJonnyboy36 thats on pokerstars[dot]net
