After Effect question. I have a 8gm of ram on my pc. When i check the preferenceses on memory & multiprocessing after effect it read - Install: 8 GB and for Total After Effect memory usage: 2.4 GB.

Why is it reading usage 2.4 GB when I got 8 GB

Dude I love Andrew Kramer. My friend told me about after effects and when I was looking for tutorials for after effects I found Video Copilot. He makes by far the best tutorials I've ever seen.

@Float4life With after effects you can select from tons of different formats. Good ones are Quicktime with H.264 compression, Avi with NTSC compession, or just Windows Media no compression. Hope this helps!

@streetbattles919 Yes! All of the effects are standard file types, so they'll work in Sony Vegas. However, the included tutorials are for After Effects.
