Whats the difference between amino acids nd proteins? I know like chicken, fish, protein powder, etc. are proteins, and things like olives, flaxseed and avocado are amino acids, but whats the difference, nd how do they work/ affect your body?? Like amino acids are the "building blocks of proteins" but what does that mean? does this mean when u consume proteins your body breaks it down then builds it back up(into mussel?) & does this mean amino acids turn directly into protein/mussel? plz help!!
@nikopikox amino acids are basically proteins with essential and non essentials , but it's just an easier way to consume protein for people who don't eat much , it's also made to be absorbed faster than food , so after working out it is absorbed faster to repair muscle fibers :D
