good questions! I do apply moisturizer before, but my skin is dry. I could see normal skin not needing a moisturizer prior to this. I also apply them to the back of my hand and mix it that way. xoxo

they are quite similar in effect, but I do find the shimmer brick to be much more glow/shimmery than the msf's. I personally feel the msf's give more of a pearl glow and less shimmer. xoxo to you!

Hey there - love your videos! So, I purchased the Porcelain Pink, Hand Finish and Daft Pink! But they seem so so similar AND I have the Blonde MSF already! What is your opinion? When I use the Hand Finish it seems like overkill to put the Porcelain Pink on with that as a highlighter! The colors are pretty but I need to consolidate - please help! Regards, Liz

I totally agree on the part that you don't need porcelain pink on either hand finish or daft pink because they're already shimmery, but I do feel that hand finish and daft pink are different in colors. I love them all and put porcelain pink on my matte blushes when in that shimmery mood. xoxo!

I had to read some publications on whether the ingredient actually helps scarring, but most were on hypertrophic (big "raised" scars) not on regular discoloration scarring on your face from blemishes, and it did nothing for the scars. The study did mention that it helped collagen organization which is important in keeping skin tight. What I do know is that it's function as a primer is excellent for me.

I have the Colorstay and the Superfit so I'll try that... I use the shade Shell in Superfit and it's a tad too dark but if I mix it with my Colorstay it should work.... do you still wear the Even Better? I love the way it makes my skin look but sometimes toward the end of the day I'm greasy in certain areas which is so strange because my skin is on the dry side. Hope you had a nice anniversary!

Today is son #3's 11th b-day.

I've been mixing my colorstay foundation with two other products too! The color is 330 natural tan and it matches good except it's a bit ashy. So I'm using it with Kiehls tinted moisturizer and lustre drops.

The gold estee lauder powder is killing me. I think it's a must have!

Hi Gina!! If you like glosses with gold sparkle you have to try Too faced Canary (the name says it all): I got this for 3€ in a sale where I live and I should've gotten a back up. There´s also a Rimmel gloss called Golden Goddess from their Vinyl collection (I live in Spain and we just got it, so I guess that it´s available in the US) that is super nice.

I just tried the combo moisturiser+foundations that you mentioned in this video and I think I can even swim with this!! Thanxx!!

I am sorry to say- these products (mederma and generic scar creams) do not actually lighten scars... The research demonstrates that petroleum jelly is more effective than the scar creams/ gels, as scars inherently heal more rapidly in moist environments. Further, mederma claims to have a proprietary ingredient from onion concentrate that helps with scar reduction/ lightening but clinical studies disprove this :( I wish they worked though. I personally don't like how it feels as a "primer".

I personally haven't tried "mederma" and hear the gel is gross compared to the cream version. I'm now curious about how similar the Walgreens scar cream vs. the Mederma ingredients are. Mine contains avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate, octocrylene and oxybenzone. Off to study! Thanks for the great information and your honest opinion! Truly appreciated. hugs!

The active ingredient is the sun screen (avobezone) (which most of us have in other products!) I wish it worked better than it does... But I bet for some it is a cheap primer option! I just felt it was too heavy on my skin.

That is why I noted I use a very light amount with half moisturizer to even my skin tone. Secondly, that is why I wear a cheap foundation. Lastly, how does wearing makeup and sweating have anything to do with each other in conjunction to clogging pores? Sweating itself doesn't clog pores, and wearing makeup while sweating doesn't increase this phenomena. Also, like you stated lastly which is kind of contradicting, if I'm washing it off right after how am I further clogging pores?

Gina i have been mixing my Revlon mixed with serious skin care reverse lift.cream..i like it so much better!! your right about the easy blending....eyes of space?.. never heard of this do tell..........i hate that hip-liner !! it sinks into my skin and i look like a raccoon ,, nothing gets it off if i wear it 3 days in a row. maybe i am to dry.. and absorb it like a sponge.
