Methane Releases from Arctic Shelf May Be Much Larger and Faster Than Anticipated
NSF - March 4, 2010.
Research results, published in the March 5 edition of the journal Science, show that the permafrost under the East Siberian Arctic Shelf, long thought to be an impermeable barrier sealing in methane, is perforated and is starting to leak large amounts of methane into the atmosphere. Release of even a fraction of the methane stored in the shelf could trigger abrupt climate warming.

2009 = 2nd HOTTEST on record.
Temps. spiked over 0.5C since 1975
9 of the last 10 years were the HOTTEST ever recorded. Only 1998 was hotter than 2000 or any year since.

Sun spots and the Net TSI, Total Solar Irradiance, have not increased since 1975. We have satellite data to prove it. Last year TSI was at a 35 year low.

Global cooling is total fantasy. Its fans can't provide a single real science reference to back themselves up. Meanwhile...here is a paper with the overwhelming evidence that European wild plants are reacting to INCREASES in temperatures caused by climate change.
