thats one of my favorite areas to go when i was still living out west, when i lived in crestline california in mountains, we would go threw the high dessert and go to all the fun Mojave areas, once upon a time we talked about following Mojave river from hesperia until it ended, because we heard you can follow it all the way to the Colorado river.
Man that looked like an amazing trip I wish I would of took my JK out with you guys. Thanks for sharing your adventure definetly some amazing sights to be seen here.
Cindy, im assuming your wife, is an excellent videographer and editor. Not only are these the best Jeep videos on Youtube, but some of the best quality videos as well. Thank you for all the time and effort put into making these.
I've been watching your videos for about an hour now. I own a TJ but I am seriously loving the 4 door JKs and I'm jealous of your west coast locale. Amazing stuff.
@silverrubicon69 if you can afford it, getting a good 2" suspension lift would give you better articulation. depending on the kit, it can even offer a better ride than what you have. but, if you're working on a budget, there's nothing wrong with a set of coil spacers.

Can you guys from Project JK recommend a safe way to clean mud off the outside of your engine and under the hood on a 2010 JK? Just did some wheeling in mud exactly like this video and coated everything under my hood. :)
@giftedNmusic short of having it steam cleaned, there isn't a whole lot you can do. simple green and a light flow of water to rinse will help but that's about it.
o man i wished i lived somewhere around i have a yellow tj and live in costa rica, i bet there are some good trails around here but its really hard to find them cuz i dont know anybody that organizes trips like these, love the vids btw bud
The Videos just keep getting better and better. This is awesome. I have an '02 Grand Cherokee w/ 2" life and 31" tires (4WD of course)... would this be a 'doable' trip?
Other than the area where they drive across the normally dry lake bed I've done the whole Black Mtn/Opal Mtn area several times in my '75 Toyota wagon and my '97 VW Jetta. Been camping out there since the 1970's beautiful place!! Great video.
Wow you guys! What a cool vid, LOVE the jeeps!, very nice looking trucks. We are using a very tricked out wrangler about 60k plus spent on mods as 1 of our wedding cars and my FJ40 as the other in 2 weeks time. Keep an eye out for the vid. :)
The shots of the jeeps on the lake are incredible. Do you have photos of that shot as well? And top notch job on the editing in this vid. Salime and I are saving up for an HD camera, too many great areas that we go that an SD camera just doesn't do justice to.
each of your video and excursion related to makes me proud of owning a 4wd and be an offroader
nature must be respected and enjoyed a lot more than it really is
this should be the way of life
tks for doing all of this

@wayalife i got a question i want to lift my 2010 rubicon. would it be better to get a 2.5 in budget boost or a two inch suspension lift?

Ok Thanks for the info. Again great videos. Maybe we'll wheel some day up here in fresno.
bondsybaby 2 years ago
The guys at 4 wheel parts talked me into leaning toward the RE 3.5 inch short arm. Is it as good as the full traction or the teraflex?
bondsybaby 2 years ago
yes. it's a good kit but unlike FT and TF, it does not come with adjustable lower control arms - something i prefer to have.

actually, WOLette does all the videos but, thank you :)
