I cannot deny the great quality that beyonce has brought to this track.

Of course the original will always be better, that's just how it is with originals and covers.

However Beyonce really good vocal control in this song, and brought her own personal swagger to it. I much prefer when she is controlling her voice like this whilst still displaying her abilities, as opposed to when she is belting out loud noise, because I find that this style is much more listenable for long periods of time.
