Sorry, John. May have to wait another year or ten before you get another one. Maybe you can borrow one of Izzo's - he has enough for about two per finger.
Please. Beilein deserves credit for getting your program back to the dance after over a decade of futility. And I think Michigan will have a good team this year - possibly good enough to get 3rd or 4th place in the conference. But don't get your hopes too high. After Harris and Sims are gone, where is the talent? He recruits guys to fit his system, and that system is fine if you are making three pointers. But you will never be a serious threat in the Big Ten if you cannot defend and rebound.
Everything is cyclical, MSU's not going to be at the top forever. That's the way it is in sports.
The talent which will replace them is entering this year; but yes, those two are cogs of a good team.
Along with Sims, we'll finally have some inside presence with Gibson, Climans, and Cronin returning from injury. What's going to happen when those big guys are rebounding (along with Manny, one of the top rebounders in the Big Ten), and our shooters start draining threes?
True, but there is no reason to believe MSU is going to decline anytime soon. They have one of the best coaches in the country, and they continue to recruit as well as anyone in the conference.
I question Michigan's inside presence. Gibson is barely serviceable, and the other guys are complete unknowns. And if your team is going to take 50% of their shots from long range, they have to do it better than at a 33% clip. Considering most of the guys don't know any other way to score, it limits UofM.
Haha, I remember this. He should just say "you will never win one of these or anything else if you play basketball for michigan"

I wish he was still at WVU. I hated that he left, but he's a helluva coach. I root for Coach B, but hate UM!!

Um...that didn't happen, we made the Tournament.
Oops.
I think Sparty's days of "owning" the state are numbered. No longer can they cash in on Michigan's sanctions.
