@RocketRadioTower Actually that's Red. Ash/Satoshi was based on Red since the games came first. When yellow version came out they decided to make it slightly more similar to the anime so you get Pikachu as your starter(he won't evolve like in the anime and he's the only Pikachu in the game) but you're able to find the other starter Pokemon in the game.
