excuse men but what is the purpose whit the monitor if it is an AED? (unless it is like in the LifePak 1000 that can be converted into manual mode. I do not know so I am curious to know)

@MedicalAviator You are correct - the Powerheart G3 Pro, like the Lifepak 1000, can be converted into manual mode by flipping open a tab. Some airlines do equip their aircraft with AEDs that have EKGs so that they can "monitor" a patient, although it will only give a reading in one lead (leads II).
