Awesome movie,wish they had made atleast one more from Last Crusade .I just love the films soo much,made me want to find relics as a kid when the first one came out.

This movie was terrific. I could not have been more pleased with the results...any true Indiana Jones fan appreciates this movie...
Sure it isn't as good as Raiders...but who said it was going to be? I saw the the movie as a mix of all three films with a little something different thrown in...they couldn't keep everything the same...that would be boring. If there was to be a sequel the franchise needed to move in a new direction but all while keeping that same Indy feel.

The crystal skull is actually an alien skull, Mac is a traitor paid by the KGB, Indiana survives a nuclear bomb blast in a refrigerator, Mutt Williams is actually Indiana's son, Akator stands for knowledge instead of gold, Akator is not a city of gold but a spaceship, the KGB bitch gets the knowledge and is vaporized and Mac is sucked into the spaceship's interdimensional void and vaporized.

As for the digital effects, apparently, Spielberg is trying to do as much live action and as little CGI as possible to re-create the old look.
You have to take some reviews with a grain of salt. Some are part of the company that made the film or others have ties to the company. I only trust independent reviews.

yeah, if any thing kids these days are all about cult films. and these films are more liked than back when they were made. I don't know about you, but i can't walk into one persons house hold without seeing Indiana jones 1,2&3, star wars 4,5 & 6, and the some of the the old john carpenter flicks. I have the Box set of the movies on DVD. To see a forth would be amazing. I was a kid when the first three came out this is giving me that excited young child feeling again even though I'm now 27.
This was filmed in Deming, New Mexico (June '07), where Mark Medoff's Creative Media Institute film school from nearby Las Cruces screwed the town's other film program at Dona Ana Branch CC from getting any of its students on Indy IV as crew members. When you need 3rd-rate playwriting and casting nepotism, Medoff is the name to trust!
Yeah I gotta agree... Without Ford I wouldn't even be interested...George and Steven have worked great in the Indy series so I don't know why anyone would judge before it was done.
I agree that Harrison may seem slightly old for the role, but I've seen him back in the Indy suit and fedora and he actually looks ok. Besides, the story itself is set in 1957, that's 19 years after The Last Crusade, so the character has aged considerably too. They're bound to make his age part of some jokes, like "I'm too old for shit" or something lol.. can't wait for it come out anyways.
yeah t has been about 19-20 years since the last one, so it makes sense to have ford older than the last one:P also as they dont try to make another one in 20 year timexD

you should look up "Indiana jones comic-con" here on youtube where you see spielberg with ford and some other cast members and you'll see he still looks strapping in the old indy attire and he isn't fat or anything like that.. Ford definitely doesn't look 65 which is his actual age.. could easily pass for 50

Did you know the real Indiana Jones was actually born in Idaho, but later lived in Indiana where he changed is name to Blair. Also the real Blair Jones is believed to have been gay. Funny thing, the real life Han Solo was also gay, but they changed that for the movie Star Wars.

Okay Mr. Spielberg I love all your movies, and I'm anxiously awaiting this one. I'm urging you please make sure you don't get a full camera shot of that brand-new Harley engine plus disc brakes on the bike that Shia LaBeouf rides. I know this sounds like nitpicking, but when you consider how bad it's going to go over when Shia, who is supposed to be a 50s biker type rides up on a brand-new Harley Evo that's sort of dressed up like a 50s Harley.

yeah, if any thing kids these days are all about cult films. and these films are more liked than back when they were made. I don't know about you, but i can't walk into one persons house hold without seeing Indiana jones 1,2&3, star wars 4,5 & 6, and the some of the the old john carpenter flicks. Also the evil dead trilogy. I think its great.

This was filmed in Deming, New Mexico (June '07), where Mark Medoff's Creative Media Institute film school from nearby Las Cruces screwed the town's other film program at Dona Ana Branch CC from getting any of its students on Indy IV as crew members. When you need 3rd-rate playwriting and casting nepotism, Medoff is the name to trust!

Yeah I gotta agree... Without Ford I wouldn't even be interested...George and Steven have worked great in the Indy series so I don't know why anyone would judge before it was done.

I agree that Harrison may seem slightly old for the role, but I've seen him back in the Indy suit and fedora and he actually looks ok. Besides, the story itself is set in 1957, that's 19 years after The Last Crusade, so the character has aged considerably too. They're bound to make his age part of some jokes, like "I'm too old for shit" or something lol.. can't wait for it come out anyways.

you should look up "Indiana jones comic-con" here on youtube where you see spielberg with ford and some other cast members and you'll see he still looks strapping in the old indy attire and he isn't fat or anything like that.. Ford definitely doesn't look 65 which is his actual age.. could easily pass for 50

Did you know the real Indiana Jones was actually born in Idaho, but later lived in Indiana where he changed is name to Blair. Also the real Blair Jones is believed to have been gay. Funny thing, the real life Han Solo was also gay, but they changed that for the movie Star Wars.

It's not that they're out of ideas, they just make a lot of sequels and remakes these days because movies will generate a bigger audience if it's based on something the audience is already familiar with. The Indy films are classic so many people are waiting for a new Indy movie.

It's a 1932 Ford roadster. Period correct, unlike the Twin Cam Harley that can be seen in another video. Twin Cams didn't come out till 1999.

i know you've been corrected on this lots already.... but the rumor of indy vs aliens has been debunked... this film will follow the legend of the crystal skulls. there are supposedly 13 of them hidden all around the world, only 6 have been found. When brought together, they have some kinda mystical power.. so i assume this movie will a hunt to find the other 7.

Okay Mr. Spielberg I love all your movies, and I'm anxiously awaiting this one. I'm urging you please make sure you don't get a full camera shot of that brand-new Harley engine plus disc brakes on the bike that Shia LaBeouf rides. I know this sounds like nitpicking, but when you consider how bad it's going to go over when Shia, who is supposed to be a 50s biker type rides up on a brand-new Harley Evo that's sort of dressed up like a 50s Harley.
