I belive he knew something was going to happen..The way he closes his eyes is melting my heart and making me cry each and every time i watch this footage.Rest in peace Ayrton...You were and still are the best.Never to be forgotten.....
Senna has a pensive, hunted look in his eyes in this footage. I believe he knew he was going to die, or at least had experienced a premonition. He NEVER looked so ill at ease as he did at Imola. Senna was always brim full of confidence before a race. He looks like a man who knows his time has come.......So sad. RIP Senna- The Greatest Of All.
I think his expression was a combination of things, the events of the weekend and the fact he was in the "car to beat" but unfortunately had yet to gain any points spinning out in both races doing what he does best. Trying with everything he's got to win the race.
he definitely was scared. his thoughts weren t about ratzenberger. a professional like him would have never thought about the death of another driver so close before the race start. normally you are absolutely focused, but he was just feeling something could happen. it seems he s looking for a guy who asks him to leave the car, but there wasn t any person.
One of the mysteries of his death: He never took off his helmet before at the grid - but did that fateful day - strange... R.I.P. Ayrton! We miss u and we love dearly!!!
By looking at this footage, he seems to have something on his mind. Now its not mcdonalds after the race something more to it lets think beneath the layer of the sea. Like he was expecting something.
he might be thinking that there could be another driver that would be killed and i think he thinks its him which it did and he thought of that because Roland Ratzenberger died before the day he died so u know
more like his close friend roland rotsenburger that also died a day b4 ayrton... he seemed worried like there was a dark cloud over that track that dat,, i miss senna soo much as well peace
Bless his soul. I honestly believe Ayrton looked like he was going to cry at 25 secs my intuition tells me he was very hesistant, scared about partaking in this race, you can see it in his eyes, I mean Roland died the day before that must have been playing on his mind like hell, and for him to die the day after is absolutely ludicrous! why?!
Mmm... completely wrong. You would say he was concentrating, but he looks really close to cry. And also, Alain Prost said in Autosport that Senna, just minutes before GP start, was walking around Renault's motorhome. Alain said Ayrton always was something like 30 minutes inside cockpit, so clearly he didn't want to race that sad Labour Day.

It's so weird to see him so alive moments before of his death. We wouldn't ever believe that was his last race.

so in the end he could nothing do but praying.
he was born as a racer and died as a racer.

The cars in -94 were too dangerous. And Ayrton said that from the season beginning.Imola was just a wake up call.Brutal weekend.

I think the same thing...you can see clearly in your face that he didn't want to race. He was very touched by the Ratzenberger's accident on Saturday
