no they arnt sharp but as long as u dont go aginst the hair u wont hurt the dog. plus it also works better with short strokes not long strokes. and be carefull not to press hard and go over the same spot to many times or it can cause a rash.. ive been grooming dogs for 6 years now and i highly recomend the furminater for dogs and also cats.
I love it when trolls are on youtube. She is no sick. Watch the other vidoes of here, is this the only one you watched? Then you assume she is to slim. 1 she is a Husky, husky are supposed to be slim and lean. 2 she is a runt, makes her smaller then most other huskies. 3 she weighs 37 pounds. The Female Husky should be between 35 and 55 pounds, so she is within her weight range. Any more rude comments Troll?
It's so funny, I came on here after furminating my dog, and here I find a video of a similar dog with the same name getting the same treatment. My year old 100lb Alaskan malamute (also named Shiloh, a male) looks very similar to your husky, he's bigger and not nearly as dark, but I can definitely relate to the amount of hair. the furminator is a life saver. well, at very least its a time saver. Beautiful dogs btw.
Well thank you! Yes, I LOVE my Furminator. I know have a 2nd Husky and I don't know what I would do without that tool! I love the northern breeds! I bet your dog is beautiful! We thought about getting a Malamute, but we ended up with another Husky instead. Maybe next time!
Thank you for posting this! I have a 2 year old Husky and recently got 2 more husky puppies. The hair in the house from one of them was crazy enough for meto by a Dyson. Hopefully with the Furminator I can lower the amount of hair in my house when they blow their coats.
I just ordered my furminator and am super excited to receive it. My 10month old male husky is shedding everywhere. His entire undercoat is coming out and I sit there for about 20mins in the morning and at night with a rake and the needle looking brush and to no avail. So I'm really banking in on this to really work! Thanks for the video of it!
Well huskies only shed really bad twice a year. When they blow their coat it's insane! I really don't have to brush her that often. When she is blowing her coat, it's about once a week. The rest of the year, I only do it if she looks like she needs it.

btw are these things sharp in the front??

I wouldn't say they are sharp in the front. They are almost like the blades on a hair trimmer.
