@bikebalance Wtf? You don't really need a leash for your dog when riding at all times. I just have mine off leash and she stays by my side, she has the common sense not to wander into danger. When i see another dog i just put her on her leash then when the dog is gone i unclip her again. Having them leashes at all time is not necessary unless your dog is extremely dog-aggressive and will chase other dogs when it see's them.
